A driver engaged 5 days before. I thought good but they didn’t respond to my messages. Then on the day they didn’t turn up or respond to messages.?then the app froze so unable to report or log. Rubbish Service! ### 1/5 — Impossible to contact *2024-12-14, version 3.4.0* It is impossible to make contact with this company. They will not be in business long as they have zero customer service. Shame as this could be a very good app. Tried to reinstate my account but they do not respond. ### 1/5 — One of the worst apps I’ve used *2024-11-20, version 3.3.0* Doesn’t attract drivers, waited over 10mins before cancelling. My request was accepted but when i called the taxi driver as requested he told me he was at home and had accepted our ride by mistake. So stranded in the taxi desert called central London again. Guess Uber is going to get my business instead. ### 1/5 — Absolutely useless app. *2024-08-31, version 3.1.0* I wanted to stay loyal to the black cab drivers, but out of 12 different attempts to book rides using the app, only once did it yield a cab… who cancelled one minute later. I even tried booking a ride to the station in the morning and that was ignored as well. Not sure what the point of the app is if you can’t actually book a cab but it should be removed from the App Store. ### 1/5 — No driver and hefty cancellation charge! *2024-07-01, version 2.9.0* I rebooked the trip. Five minutes pass, no one turned up. I called the driver as well as texting and no answer. I had to cancel the trip as I’m running late and have to find the alternative. Got charge £9 for that. Never again. Stick to the competitors - Freenow, Uber, Bolt. Very unprofessional and feels like a scam. ### 1/5 — Poor *2024-06-01, version 0.43.16* Tried to use but repeatedly fails to load the route. Loaded route and price only 1 in 10 attempts. Have deleted my account and will only use the more reliable apps available. ### 1/5 — ETA was way off. Charged to cancel *2024-04-04, version 0.43.16* I try to stay loyal to black cabs in London, but the app gives no price estimate and the arrival time went from 7 minutes to 10 then 15 etc. then 17. I understand traffic is bad but I feel deceived by the original ETA. Then was charge 5 GBP to cancel. Guess it’s Uber from now on. The driver cancelled five minutes after he was due to pick me up having not answered my call or text. Worse still as the app doesn’t then try to find another driver - your request is just cancelled. Moved in to a lovely part of London but not somewhere you can step out on the street and hail a cab, especially at 5 in the morning. Downloaded the app, placed an order a full 12hrs in advance towards on of the main train stations. Checked the order section an hour before still searching. 15 mins before still searching and the map showed several little cars in the local area. 5 mins before pick up, same. 1 minute past, cancelled. Would have been nice to know there would be no cab 10 or 15 minutes before at that time of the morning, especially given the notice. I love a black cab but I have deleted the app and will look for a local reliable taxi service, who understands customer service and will turn up! ### 1/5 — Can’t load app *2023-09-16, version 0.43.02* Tried loading the app but it doesn’t like either of my email addresses so I can’t get past adding my payment card. ### 1/5 — Glitchy and slow *2023-08-02, version 0.42.03* Visited London normally living in US, T-Mobil 5G. I had deleted the app, now I’ve re-download it to try and see what the charge is for and the app won’t open because there are “updates available” (there us no update to download). No surge pricing and owned by the drivers so they are not paying fees to uberlords! Regular trained London cabbie that didn’t need an app to find the route! ### 5/5 — Goodwine20 *2024-02-12, version 0.43.12* Delighted. Finally the app works. Hit the order button and a cab was on its way in seconds. Seems like there’s soo many more drivers now. Never have trouble ordering anymore and also the pre book feature works when I needed a taxi early one morning. £3 booking fee which seems fair as the driver keeps the money on the meter. Well done black cabbies. Best in the world. ### 5/5 — Very Happy *2024-01-24, version 0.43.10* I tried using this app a few years ago with only some luck, but having really used it a few times recently I have been able to get a taxi every time. The drivers are very friendly and seem happy with the app as they do not pay any commission. I hear they get charged up to 20% on the other apps. Just a small booking fee, but again way less than what the other apps surcharge me. All London drivers should be on this app. Seems a fairer system for both customers and drivers. ### 5/5 — Great service *2023-07-03, version 0.42.02* I was initially put off using taxi app by some of the reviews. I needed an early morning airport ride and the thought of random cancellations was too stressful. However I like the idea of a company that’s geared towards the cabbies and with no surcharges apart from the upfront booking fee so I went for it. After booking however the ride was accepted and then cancelled. So I contacted them direct. This is when it got really good. A lovely lady explained the glitch which they’re trying to fix and then personally undertook to sort my cab. My driver called me the night before to confirm the pick up, arrived early and was a joy to travel with. Will definitely book with them again. ### 5/5 — Great app and service *2023-06-10, version 0.42.0103* In London I am completely let down by how poor the reliability is with so many of the taxi apps (Uber, FreeNow, Bolt) it was quite refreshing how quick and easy it was to secure a driver. The driver was a great lad too- and shared how this service is structured far more fairly for the workers. I couldn’t believe there was no extra charges like all the other apps in London. The only fee I paid was a £3 booking fee and the driver said he gets all the fare. The driver even gave me a code to use on my next journey for a 10% discount. Amazing . ### 5/5 — Great London licence taxi app *2023-03-16, version 0.41.07-CROWNFLASH* Used the app, very friendly drivers with the knowledge of London. No hidden extras, no surcharging when it’s raining or busy, just a flat £3 charge added to the meter fare for the best taxi service in the world.
