## What is TaxiCloud Driver?

TaxiCloud Driver is the companion app for professional taxi and for-hire drivers working with a TaxiCloud-powered fleet.

• Go online and receive dispatched jobs instantly with push notifications
• See pickup, drop-off, fare and passenger details at a glance
• Navigate with live location sharing so your dispatcher and rider see you move
• Run the full trip lifecycle: accept, en route, arrived, on board, complete
• Track today's trips, earnings and ratings in real time
• Message your dispatcher without leaving the app
• Optional street-hail taximeter for on-the-spot fares

You need an account provided by your fleet operator to sign in. TaxiCloud is a dispatch platform for licensed taxi and for-hire operators.

### 1.2.3 — 2026-09-13

Documents now shows your own documents and their real status - valid, expiring soon, expired, awaiting review, rejected or not on file - with the expiry date your office holds, and it warns you when a document would stop you working. Before, every driver saw the same fixed list.

Your position is now reported while you are online and waiting, not only during a trip, so you no longer drop out of contact between jobs.

When no work is reaching you, the app tells you why instead of leaving you waiting. If a job you were offered goes to another driver, the message now says so plainly.

General fixes and stability improvements.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-08-31

A new look for the sign-in screen.

Earnings and Statement now show any rent or balance you owe, using your operator's own figures rather than a total added up on the device. Nothing is shown when you owe nothing.

Signing in now reports the app version to the server, so notifications behave correctly even if push permission was declined.
