Worked brilliantly yesterday. Not today after an app update, which is rather unfortunate. Can’t imagine how busy that phone line is going to be as more and more update.

1st time taking a taxi in Oslo, came across a free one when I needed to get back to my apartment quickly & it ended up costing $49 USD for 2.6 mile ride from downtown. Insane pricing & will be sticking with Uber, they are 3x cheaper.

Tried to book a taxi in Sweden ahead of time. Lets me enter start and end location but then assumes current time so rejects the request and starts again at location. Never gets to the point where I can enter the time. Fatal flaw

It’s okay. Once in the taxi it still said I was waiting for my car, so it was not updating the trip. This is bad because as a woman travelling alone in a new place, I want to make sure the driver is on track and taking me where I need to go. Otherwise, the prices are expensive but what you’d expect, as taxis often are. It was easy to find the cab and everything else went smoothly

We used the app twice for taxis in Svolvær, Lofoten Islands. The taxi rank in Svolvær says to use the app to book. 

Our first booking was Svolvær to Gimsøy, long and expensive. Our driver was quick, friendly, and very helpful. 1068NOK

Our 2nd booking was Gimsøy to Svolvær 2 days later. The app added 400NOK to the original price AND THEN the driver called to tell me the app was outdated and added another 200NOK making it 1700NOK. 

A local told us we were being extorted by the driver and offered a lift to Svolvær. It took us 20minutes to contact the taxi company and driver to cancel, by which time he said he was already half way to us. We were happy to pay half the quote for his troubles but he was very rude and abusive to us. 

If the app is so outdated to have “incorrect quotes”, then update your app. Otherwise, your drivers gain a reputation for scamming. Everything else in Lofoten is wonderful. 1st driver, wonderful. But I do not recommend this app or taxi service.

I have tried to use this app three times in the last two months. It cannot find a taxi anywhere and I just give up and walk home in the dark after waiting about 15 mins…it used to be good so I don’t know what is going on at the moment. Moss, Viken

Aurland. Booked taxi cancelled. After calling the company they said they don’t use the app in July, but this wasn’t advertised anywhere and the app didn’t warn about this.

Good luck booking a taxi when their sms verification is broken. I tried the website as well, same issue. Then I tried calling their international phone number which doesn't work either. Taxi companies have been complaining about Uber but at least their service works ...

I tried to submit a request for a taxi to the airport for *tomorrow* am, but instead of letting me tell it when I needed the taxi, it dispatched a taxi immediately.  I immediately tried to cancel it, but other than calling the driver, it doesn’t let you do that.  I called the driver immediately, but I don’t know whether I will get charged.  All well-designed apps like this allow you to confirm the details before the order is finalized.  Very poorly designed.  🙄

Sono in viaggio per Tromsø e ho un’aereo per le 6 di mattina,decido di prenotare una corsa per le 3.00(si paga in anticipo)All’orario della prenotazione viene il taxi richiesto chiamandomi per cognome e mi faccio accompagnare all’aeroporto.Arrivati a destinazione il tassista mi ha chiesto il pagamento(che io avevo già fatto).Gli mostro la prenotazione con allegata fattura ma lui insisteva che avevo fatto due ordini e che avevo pagato un taxi non suo (nonostante mi abbia chiamato per cognome prima di prelevarmi).Mi ha minacciato di chiamare la polizia ,e gli ho detto che poteva tranquillamente farlo dato che avevo lo scontrino con me.Mi ha fatto scendere dal taxi dopo 30 minuti rischiando di farmi perdere l’aereo CHE BRUTTA ESPERIENZA

Warning for overseas travellers.  As you try to register - the software keeps putting a random zero in front of your mobile number.  It means it’s impossible to receive the verification code.  You’ll need to find another way to book.

I emailed them twice to know the policy of car seat for babies. No answer.

Once in Oslo, I booked a taxi with a max fare. The taxi driver went all around the city to make the drive long enough to reach the max fare. I even showed him Google Maps but he kept inventing excuses (“this tunnel is closed because of the terrorist attack of 12 years ago”).

Never again.

Ordered a taxi the night before a trip, and the app said it was confirmed. The next day, nothing shows up. No communication whatsoever on the app. It tells you nothing and fails to give you what you order. Absolute crap.

This app saved my life! I was in Kirkenes on Sunday, nothing was open and there were no buses to the airport. I booked a taxi with this App, it was perfectly on time and I can pay with credit card on the taxi.

I’ve only used Taxifix once.  It was very easy to install and set up.  I gave it my US cell number for alerts and it worked just fine.  

I pre booked a taxi for an early morning 5:30 AM pickup about 25 km out of Oslo and the driver showed up 2 minutes early.  Everything worked perfectly.  

Taxis are expensive in Oslo but sometimes you need to spend more for reliability.

Used this in Gothenburg and it was great, both for instant taxis and bookings for later. Cars turned up reliably and I was given their car details in advance and regular updates before and during the journey.

I was a little worried based on the reviews in the App Store but we had absolutely zero issues using this app! We landed at the airport around midnight and I was worried we wouldn’t be able to find a ride since the bus wasn’t operating at that time. We easily got a ride and had a great experience overall with all of our drivers when we were in Alta! I highly recommend.

Easy to setup. Only a few steps to schedule a rider. One click to cancel then rebooking as easy as first booking. Car arrived 10 min. earlier then scheduled time. Airport flat fee applied. It’s helpful when you don’t want to make a international phone call to book a taxi using roaming, as long as you can access to WiFi.

I was not expecting this to work considering the reviews said it’s awful and no taxis arrive using it. But we used this app 4 times during our trip to Norway and it works fine. It is not really the apps fault if a taxi drops off anyway as you can get this with uber and most other apps too (but we didn’t experience this). It does ask a few too many questions during the sign up process and once a taxi is booked the confirmation screen is orange with light blue text which is difficult to read. Other than that it works fine!

Not fancy, but it gets the job done for advance orders. Which is good as it's the only app I've found that supports smaller towns in Norway.
