## What is Tayib?

Halal, doubtful or haram? Scan the barcode and see why, ingredient by ingredient.
Tayib flags pork, gelatin, alcohol, carmine (E120), E471, rennet and more, and shows you its sources.
Scanning, halal verdicts and sources are free forever.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Scan a product's barcode, or take a photo of its ingredient list.
2. Tayib checks every ingredient and every additive.
3. Read the verdict and the reason behind it, with sources.

A CLEAR VERDICT, NEVER A MYSTERY
• Halal, Certification reported, Check further, Haram or Unknown: every verdict is explained.
• For each flagged ingredient: why it matters (animal origin, alcohol, slaughter…).
• Additives decoded: E471, E120, E441, E904 and many more.

YOUR SCHOOL, YOUR RULING
• Choose your madhhab: Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i or Hanbali.
• Where the schools differ (seafood, rennet, fermentation alcohol…), Tayib tells you instead of deciding for you.

SOURCES, NOT CLAIMS
• Qur'an verses, hadiths and fatwas cited for each rule.
• Halal certifications reported on the pack, when known.

BEYOND HALAL: TAYYIB
• A health and composition score for every product.
• Additives, allergens and ultra-processed ingredients highlighted.
• Better-rated alternatives in the same category.

LEARN
• Ingredient encyclopedia: where gelatin comes from, what rennet is, why E471 is doubtful.
• Sunnah foods and the etiquette (adab) of eating.
• Top halal lists by category to shop faster.

WORLDWIDE
Millions of products from the collaborative Open Food Facts database, worldwide. No barcode or unknown product? Photograph the label.

FREE FOREVER
Unlimited scans, halal verdict, school choice, score and sources.

TAYIB+ (optional yearly subscription)
• Search products without scanning.
• Allergies for the whole family, with alerts.
• Watch the products you buy for recalls.
• Offline mode: packs for 30 countries, so you can scan without signal.

GOOD TO KNOW
Tayib informs, it does not certify. Verdicts are based on the declared ingredients and available data, which can be incomplete or change. When in doubt, check the pack or ask the manufacturer or certifying body.

Eat halal and tayyib, knowing why.
