Tap Guard and the On-touch/On-lift setting now apply only to the letterboard keys, so the Hub, Quick Settings, Lessons, Settings and the text bar always respond right away. Tap Guard's default wait is now 0.5 seconds, so typing feels quicker on a new install. You can still lengthen it in Settings if taps are landing twice. ### 1.0.4 — 2026-08-31 Typing with a keyboard: Tap Guard now turns itself off while a physical keyboard is connected, so fast typing isn't dropped. It stays on for touch, and each answer is remembered separately. The first-run board tour can't strand you anymore. Clear and Save behave, keys outside the current step stay quiet, and Skip moves out of the way instead of disappearing. On iPhone, TBoard now says what it is: Messaging Lite, a companion for a speller's circle. A first-launch screen explains the full iPad app, and the link to it opens the App Store properly. Free-access codes now redeem through the App Store itself — open Settings, then “Redeem a code”. (The code box on the sign-up screen is gone.)
