Is the quality bar that low? Middle school kids create better apps these days. Regret buying this card, as the card was declined for no reason too at point of sale while I was on an international trip, which again is the sole purpose of the card. Cannot reach customer care because the number doesn’t exist. App doesn’t work. I can’t make purchases, so looks like I have no other choice to buy to let go of thousands of rupees that I spent loading this card up. Would give a -100 star review if AppStored permits. I logout from the application due to some reason. Now i am trying to login again with the same pin now it says invalid pin. Won’t credit my money to my own card till I visit their branch. Which is ridiculous. And when I asked to cancel the transaction, they say cancellation charges will be applicable. The app doesn’t work (constant OTP errors while registering the card) and support never responds. When I needed to top up my forex card while traveling abroad, I was sent in circles between the app team and the branch. After chasing them the entire day and finally making the payment they requested, the money was deducted but they claimed they hadn’t received it. Imagine being on vacation and not being able to access your own money because the company handling your travel card cannot manage basic support. Absolutely unacceptable. I would strongly advise travelers to avoid relying on this card. A travel forex card that fails when you are actually traveling is completely pointless. If this is the level of support travelers can expect, this product should not be trusted for international travel. Branch people don’t care to help with syncing or fixing my registration details and neither does phone support. ‘Support’ keeps going in a loop with the same steps and dialogue and no resolution. They made false promises and completely misled me regarding exchange rates and charges. Before purchasing the forex card/currency, I was clearly told there would be no hidden charges and transparent rates. However, after the transaction, I realised the amount I received was significantly lower than promised, with undisclosed fees and poor conversion rates applied without proper explanation. When I questioned this, the staff gave vague and contradictory answers, and no one took responsibility. This feels like a clear case of miscommunication at best and cheating at worst. Customers trust a brand like Thomas Cook for international travel needs, but this experience broke that trust completely. I would strongly advise others to double-check everything in writing or consider alternative forex providers who are more honest and transparent. This results in no cash availabilty in foreign country which is unfortunate situation considering that this is a prepaid card.
