### 4/5 — Great app, but a few, minor issues

*2023-06-28*

I bought the TC002 recently and it has been better than the FLIR Pro LT by a large margin. The app is good so far, but there are some areas of improvement I would suggest.

1. Palette always reverts back to Iron (or whatever the default is). My favourite is greyscale or red hot and I don’t like it when it always reverts back to the default. I have Save Settings enables but it doesn’t seem to work.

2. The readability of text is sometimes poor since the text is always white and it blends into the image sometimes, depending on what you’re measuring, which makes it hard to read. I would suggest having it turn black depending on the color or add a transparent grey background.

3. Temperature text is always aligned to the upper right corner of the crosshairs. If a cold spot is on the right side of the screen, I can’t see the temperature of that area because the temperature reading is off the screen.

Those are all the minor things I found so far. They aren’t purely detrimental, but it’s be nice to have them fixed.

Also, I would love to see Kelvin as another selectable temperature scale :).

I received an email from TOPDON regarding a new software 2.0 release for increase functionality. 

So far so good!

The new functions:
Range of image modes including infrared mode, dual lens mode, and image adjustments. 

Photography capabilities with more features such as time-lapse filming, automatic shutter, manual shutter, watermarking, and continuous photo shooting

New toggle switch to save setting preferences.
