### 1/5 — Hate the new layout

*2026-07-25*

Hate new layout. It feels clunky and is not attractive in the least. Why do developers always feel the need to ruin a perfectly good app???

### 5/5 — Unusable app

*2026-07-18*

Why fiddle around with a good thing? The previous app worked fine. Easy to navigate. The new one is clunky. The save list is even strange. What’s worse is that it logs users out and then won’t let them back on with a popup stating “sorry, we don’t recognize your credentials”. Completely unusable app!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work at all

*2026-07-10*

This app simply doesn’t work. I’ve downloaded it three different times and when I open it, a black screen says “Unable to connect to server” and “Please make sure you have a network connection and try again.” I am fully connected and it doesn’t work. 100% fail.

### 1/5 — Website not good either

*2026-06-02*

I like to use the TCCL website and let me tell you it’s also awful now. So bummed. If it’s not broke why fix it?? Can you please remove that awful red header that takes up half the screen and doesn’t move when you scroll?

### 1/5 — Horribly Bad!

*2026-06-02*

Bring back the old one, I lost all my books that I had saved that I wanted to read! Disappointed, I hate the new app!!!

### 1/5 — Hate it

*2026-05-30*

This new app is not an improvement at all. It is terrible to navigate. I get different results each time I search for the same title. Where are the curated lists of book recommendations? I loved browsing what would be releasing in fiction, nonfiction, children’s, and lists compiled by other libraries. Also loved the recommended book feature based on what you’ve searched/checked out. I used to browse the app so much it was like a hobby and now I dread using it.

### 1/5 — Terrible update

*2026-05-27*

The app and site were updated to a new catalogue that has lost many user features, loads slowly, makes title searches harder, frequently breaks and displays incorrect information, and has deleted any former user lists. I’ve gone from utilizing the app every day to dreading using it.

### 1/5 — Regression

*2026-05-26*

The new app will not load.
The website version is much less functional than the original. IT has never been a TCCL strong point, but this is ridiculous.

### 1/5 — Not a fan of the new app

*2026-05-20*

The new app is not as user friendly as the previous version and all my bookshelf items are gone so I have to start re-adding things and I don’t even remember half of what I had on there :( I just really liked how easy the old one was to navigate and get to what I needed, and it was easier to see what was available and what had a long line of other phone ahead of you before you placed a hold - you can still see that it’s just the view isn’t as simple as before IMO

### 2/5 — The new version is not an improvement

*2026-05-13*

All my lists were deleted, list and cannot be filtered. This was where I kept my TBR and notes on how long audiobooks were so I could know the length in advance. Super sad that years of work in curating that list are just gone and the new product isn’t even as good
