Just wanted to compare prices on this app vs Collectr etc, but I’m not spending £6 a week to use this. So dumb ### 1/5 — NOT PULSE TCG *2026-09-02* This is not the Pulse TCG app! I have the IO version and there is a beta version currently being tested which I didn’t realise, thought this was it until I realised my portfolio wasn’t there. Turns out they have used the pulse name to impersonate Pulse TCG which is really unprofessional. DO NOT sign up if you are looking for the actual Pulse TCG collectors site! I’ve requested a refund for my annual subscription, this is really disappointing! ### 1/5 — Pay wall *2026-08-31* As others have mentioned, everything useful about this app is behind a pay wall, I get the developer has to make money but other apps are just as good and free ### 1/5 — Prices on scans all over the place *2026-08-31* I signed up paid for the app, not sure what ai slop this is or how it sources data, but it’s miles off, eBay listing link is funny it just searches anything, devs really need to pull fingers out, I want a refund too ### 1/5 — Subscriptions cost *2026-08-26* Downloaded to use alongside Collectr, but the fees are stupid for personal collectors as you have to pay to use it. Collectr is free to use. We know it’s not for everyone, but for collectors who value instant scanning and pricing insights without manually checking eBay sold listings, the time saved can make the subscription worthwhile. We’re always improving the app and its value for collectors. ### 1/5 — My personal experience!!! *2026-08-05* App is basically behind a subscription which you have to pay weekly otherwise you basically can’t access any basic features tested it out for 30 minutes and you literally can’t use anything without paying £10 a week or £70 for a year I would rather use eBay last comps for pricing instead of sketchy app that makes you pay over £10 a week just to use basic features **Developer response:** Thanks for taking the time to write this — the criticism landed. You're right that £10 a week was too much. We've reduced it to £5.99, and the annual plan is under £1.35 a week. On the pricing data: it comes from popular marketplaces price and live eBay listings, and we're adding listing counts so you can see how many sales a price is based on rather than taking our word for it. If a number ever looks wrong, please tell us — that's the part we care most about getting right. Sorry the first experience was a poor one. ### 3/5 — good app but the pay wall *2026-09-05* would be so much better if you didn’t have to pay weekly, collectr is way better because you can do everything you need to for free ## Most praised reviews (2 highest-rated) ### 3/5 — A little too expensive for regular collectors *2026-08-20* It’s a great app! but with Collectr being free it’s honestly not worth it for a regular collector to keep track of their collection and approx value of their cards/boxes. If they ever do a free tier or something cheap like £1.99 a month for basic I’d use it again over Collectr. For vendors I’m sure this app is amazing though. **Developer response:** Thanks for the honest feedback! We understand price matters. I can do everything relevant to me for free on Collectr. I'm a collector/player so not bothered about scanning, checking sales constantly etc. I just use it for my collections **Developer response:** We've brought the weekly price down to £5.99, and the annual plan works out at under £1.35 a week.
