Waste of money ### 1/5 — tCheck does NOT work with iOS *2019-02-10, version 2.2.9* I tried everything to get tCheck 2 to work on 2 different iPhones and 1 iPad. Did all the steps recommended by their support team repeatedly, but they just don’t have stable software working with iOS as of 2019. No telephone support available either, only email. ### 2/5 — Not smooth so far... *2018-11-26, version 2.2.9* Having some trouble getting readings on measurement ranges for CBD’s. I wish there were more information available in the app to guid me. Waiting for response on that from tCheck. Meanwhile I had to re-enter login after my phone timed out and the app insisted my email and passwords did not match, so I reset them and the app got stuck on the password screen. I had to trash it and reinstall to get to the home screen, still said my email and password didn’t match so I logged in with Facebook, none of my previous tests are available with Facebook login. Frustrating! ### 1/5 — No Breakdown Subscription Option *2018-11-18, version 2.2.9* This app only has a few YouTube videos on how to run the tests using the first generation model and got to do tests with the tCheck 2 however some videos are not available (such as for concentrates). There is no place to redeem or activate your first month of free breakdown subscription in the app. You only get the CBV number which is useless when you’re trying to discover the specific concentration values of your oils and tinctures. This app does not indicate the tCheck 2 is paired with your phone. You must start with your tCheck off then turn it on when the search screen is displayed. If your device starts up with it reboots and displays purple LEDs the app will not display anything on the firmware update screen. I have discovered that if you remove the batteries and press the power button then go back to the firmware screen you will get a progress bar. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Lagging since updated *2025-03-29, version 4.7* Calculator lags since update. If you try to ask for help with something you get a totally different answer depending on the customer service person at the time. I’d figured out all of txheck’s quirks last year (same phone) and was making it work for me. But something has changed with the updated app. Now it’s harvest time, I really need for it to work and the app won’t connect to the device. Says bluetooth is disabled, but it’s not, I can immediately connect to my headphones when it tells me bluetooth is disabled. So now I can’t do anything - I am stuck at the bluetooth is disabled screen with a $250 paperweight that I WAS finally happy with last harvest. ### 1/5 — pump and dump investing scam? *2020-03-13, version 3.7.0* I ordered this 11/4/19.... waited the 3 months backorder and still no product. Tried to call company, no number... only have the option to schedule a calendar event with stacy swim. Called the bank got an 800number full of automated voice prompts that take you no one but a voicemail. Why on earth does this app need location services?!! I use a simple bakers thermometer to take the temp of the oil. Note it ideally should be at room temperature, thus why the previous reviewer believes it’s incorrect, cause 100F is the max for testing and obviously you are infusing at a higher temperature. Anywayyys seems to work well; app is simplistic and does what it’s meant to do. Not sure if more data can be extracted from the test, measuring both CBD and THC would be handy rather than just the dominant strain but none the less I like the device. They could sell a kit including the vials, syringe, droppers, spoon, slide, and solvent. Who would own this device but not a gram scale? Nobody, that's who. With the add on kit, you are paying an arm and a leg for stuff you can buy on Amazon for less than $50. ### 5/5 — Great app *2019-03-20, version 2.2.9* Great app! Haven’t had any issues!
