Developer has added more and more content which is great! Tungs points, although not comprehensive, are also included which is fabulous. If abdominal acupuncture, Yamamoto scalp acupuncture and the Japanese toyohari stomach diagnosis can be included that would just be extraordinary. Honestly this is just such a good app I've been using it since I was a student and now as a practitioner I still find it useful. ### 5/5 — Don’t have TCM Clinic Aid? You should!!! *2015-06-02, version 2.0.16* Are you a TCM student who doesn’t know what resources to invest in? Choose this! TCM Clinic Aid is indispensable. It’s FULL of information; it’s well-organized; it’s not a million dollars! I use this all the time. I used to check all the information in CAM, ACT and Deadman, but realized I didn’t need to keep doing that because the information is dead on. I had a question and emailed the tech support and they responded right away (pointing out nicely it was my error not theirs :) So this is all to say, if you are thinking about getting this app you probably should. Also, I added the quizzes recently and I LOVE them. It’s so helpful with remembering point location and herb indications. Having the quizzes at my disposal whenever also means I’m studying more. ### 5/5 — Indispensable *2015-04-05, version 2.0.11* A superior replacement for a hundred pounds of books. I use this in my practice as my go-to reference, always in my pocket. Herbs within formulas are color-coded for temperature, which is hugely helpful. The in-app purchases are a bargain. It is disappearing when I open it. I tried deleted the app and put it back on but it’s no hope. It really is a must for any acupuncturist as it is one of the best reference sources that I have seen. There is so much to remember and having quick access to so much is convenient and greatly appreciated. The only gripe I have is the Master Tung points are only listed by either their English or Chinese name and not by the numbers, which I wish was an option and hope it will be in the future as it will make it faster to locate the point I am in need of. The maker is incredibly generous in what the free app contains plus there are a few optional add on’s that you can purchase such as Chinese herb pronunciation, tongue and pulse picture, all priced very reasonably. I have bought all the add ones and highly recommend doing so as they are incredibly helpful. I would just like to say a massive thank you to the developer for the generosity of sharing all this information in one app, it’s saved me so many hours during my herbal studies and I use it every day. Of all the apps I have ever bought, I have to say this probably is number 1 on my list. ### 5/5 — Chinese Herbal Formulae App *2020-01-06, version 2.2.14* This is a very handy app as an Acupuncturist & Chinese Herbalist. Perhaps it could have some more formulae there are so many! But it is really handy. I love the pictures and detail etc. I recommend it and it is quick to use in clinical practice. It’s a great resource that I go to regularly. The updates keep improving the value of the app too. I did have an issue when I transferred from an Android platform to iPhone and the seller was quick to respond and walked me through the process. One especially great feature is if you want to see the ingredients in any formula you click on the herbs and it shows a pic and full information about that herb.
