## What is TDNA?

TDNA is a local tool for organizing, browsing, and editing dashcam and Sentry Mode footage. Connect your vehicle's USB drive to your iPhone to review recordings by time and location, then create videos for saving and sharing.

Key Features:
• Read video folders from a USB drive or the Files app
• Automatically identify dashcam recordings, saved clips, and Sentry events
• Browse video events by time and location on a map
• Import videos into a local library for viewing after disconnecting the drive
• Preview and switch between front, rear, and side camera views
• Trim clips on a timeline and arrange camera angles
• Parse available telemetry such as speed, gear, and steering
• Add telemetry, time, and location overlays
• Export finished videos to Photos
• Detect duplicate files to reduce repeated imports and storage use

Privacy:
Scanning, parsing, editing, and exporting are performed entirely on your device. Videos, event records, location information, and telemetry are not uploaded to developer servers. Location access is used only to show your position on the map. Photos access is requested only when you save an exported video; TDNA does not read your existing photo library.

Some recordings may not include complete location or telemetry data. Availability depends on the vehicle model, software version, camera configuration, and original files. TDNA does not generate or fabricate driving data that is not present in the source files.

Disclaimer:
TDNA is an independently developed third-party dashcam tool and is not affiliated with, authorized, endorsed, or sponsored by any vehicle manufacturer, vehicle brand, or related service.

Browsing, importing, playback, editing, telemetry overlays, and watermarks are free. Exporting a finished video requires a one-time purchase of “Unlimited Export.” After purchase, exports are permanently unlocked with no usage limit. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. The actual price is shown on the App Store purchase sheet.

### 5/5 — This is exactly what Teslacam needed

*2026-08-11*

Finally, a good way to deal with Teslacam footage. The map view is such a nice touch it makes finding my clips by location really easy. I also love the watermark options. The speed, gear, and driving date look clean, and the little map overlay adds a polished feel without getting in the way of the video.
