This app errors out whenever I attempt to sign in. The fact of the matter is they don’t WANT you to pay your bills and manage your account online. If they can get you to pay over the phone they can charge you a “convenience fee” which of course isn’t a crazy huge fee but over the course of many months it adds up. So they make their website close to impossible to navigate for ANYONE(not just older folks, I myself am 23 and have a ton of issues with it) and they make their app deny you at the door. And of course for some people TDS is the ONLY option as they have the area monopolized. This should absolutely be illegal, if they cared at all about customer satisfaction they would update their website/app instead of leaving it completely broken. ### 1/5 — Does not work *2025-03-31, version 3.141.5* Does not let you login at all, it will start loading once you enter your login info and then send you back to the main menu asking you to try again in a few minutes. ### 1/5 — Can’t get app to login *2025-03-25, version 3.141.5* I have tried multiple times to login to this app. But each time it fails and says there was a problem and please try again in a few minutes. I know my password is correct. I even got an authentication text message put in the code and then it’s still. Wouldn’t let me in and said there was a problem to try later. Tv- APP not available for Roku ready TVs or Sticks. The TV works on the primary TV hooked up to the box but for the rest if the 6 TVs in the house, We were told we will need to replace them with official TDS receivers. I have explored many, many options and yes; nothing works. ( Tested Devices: Fire stick, Roku, TCL TV, Vizio TV, Google TV) TDS TV only works consistently on dedicated TDS TV boxes which you are required to rent. You can of course, download the app to your phone and then mirror to your TV or monitor but then cannot use your phone. We are canceling our tv service with them and will leave fully once the introductory 2 year wifi internet price is up. Total wireless does offer fiber wifi for the same price and TV subscriptions as well. This is something that I should not have to tamper with. I am this close to going back to spectrum if somebody doesn’t get back to me! Stay safe yall ### 5/5 — Whats with all the low ratings? *2024-12-29, version 3.141.5* this app is confusing at first, like many apps similar to this, but once you figure out exactly what the app can offer and how to use it, this app is great! it took me maybe five minutes to troubleshoot how freezing a device works and I feel like most of these low star ratings are from people who didn’t try to trouble shoot and instead just blamed the app 🤷‍♀️ maybe ill run into issues in the future but as of right now this app is nice and direct ### 5/5 — Why so negative? *2024-12-18, version 3.141.5* The app let me sign in and works how it’s supposed to. I like that it has a secondhand feature of acting like a security system by monitoring motion in the home by detecting devices on your network. TDS is ahead of the game. Have yet to see a company beat speeds like theirs. The only “bad” reviews are old people who can’t figure out how to pay online or use their phone. Those people don’t count, nor should they get a say. This app is great. That is not the case for me and the app works as intended in my situation.
