Welcome to Te Puna Ārai, the well spring of knowledge for Te Mana Ārai o Aotearoa| NZ Customs Service kaimahi (staff) to learn basic tikanga and te reo Māori to support their day-to-day mahi (work).
 
This app has unique Te Mana Ārai o Aotearoa content such as values, principles, karakia and haka to help us understand more about our shared cultural heritage.
 
Interactive features within the app include pronunciation of Māori words, mihimihi/pepeha (introductions), ngā mihi (greetings), poroporoaki (farewells), whakataukī (proverbs), karakia (blessings), and waiata (songs).


A key feature allows our people to input their information to create a customised pepeha.
