### 5/5 — Yay

*2026-08-17, version 3.1*

I’m ten and I love it

### 4/5 — Great but,

*2025-11-12, version 3.0*

The app is really great, but it is limited because you can’t really “level up”. You just stay in one scene. Also, there is no reward, like the dance party, for the planting food in the garden.

### 1/5 — Ban this

*2025-10-31, version 2.9*

My child Ben has been coping your monster when he goes eww! I thought that it was just Bub teaching us not to eat too many sugar. How could you teach your monster! Now Why is to read and reading for fun not free? Response or I will tell the Usborne Foundation to delete this game

### 5/5 — I love this game

*2025-04-13*

I’m a kid and my mom I love it I hope it will be fun for me

### 5/5 — Helpful for picky eaters

*2024-08-20*

I have a couple of picky eaters, and this app gave our family some language and encouragement to try new things! Love it

**Developer response:** Thank you for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that Adventurous Eating has helped your family encourage your picky eaters to try new foods! It’s great to know that the app is making a positive impact and providing support. We appreciate your feedback and hope you continue to enjoy exploring new tastes together! 🍏🎉

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2023-12-26*

It’s an amazing app but you have to pay to get the app well that’s what happened when I got it but apart from that it’s FREE ALL OF IT and THERE ARE NO ADS you heard me no ads and it’s a amazing app so I suggest that you get it.😃

**Developer response:** It's great to hear that you find the app so amazing!
What's your best bit? Many players love making their own monster, and growing veggies in Bub's Garden is very popular!

### 5/5 — My 4.5 year old loves it!

*2023-11-26, version 2.0*

My kiddo is 4.5 and loves this app. She me asked to buy a butternut squash at the grocery store because Bub tried it when she was playing this morning. We talked about how we will look at it, and smell it, and listen to it, etc. And she knows that even if she doesn’t like the way it tastes, that’s ok!

### 1/5 — Required an email

*2023-10-15, version 2.0*

This app required an email. No reason a kids app should require that.

### 2/5 — Has MADE a fussy eater!

*2023-10-11, version 2.0*

Simply, the monster your child is teaching to be more adventurous at trying food goes ‘eurgh!’ at the sights and smells of foods, shakes head, and doesn’t want to try or show any signs of enjoying trying a new thing. This behaviour has rubbed off on our child! Deleting, and leaving this warning for other parents. (An otherwise we’ll designed game)

### 5/5 — Kid loves

*2023-03-02*

My daughter loves this app! She is at the older end for the target audience at 8yrs but she still really enjoys playing this game and teaching monsters about heathy foods. Even my 12 year old son sings along to the catchy songs while she’s playing.

**Developer response:** The songs are so fun and catchy aren't they?! Did you know there are individual lyrics for each of the foods? We're delighted that your kids have had fun getting their monsters to try foods in the game. We've recently added Bub's garden, where you can grow your own veggies. Have fun and thanks for the review,
Teach Your Monster.

The "Practice Mode" Update!
Hey Adventurous Eaters! We’re very excited to bring you the latest, tastiest update yet – The Practice Mode update - perfect to help encourage real-life food exploration!
Ever wished your monster could help your little one be brave at dinner time? Well, wish granted! Now, you can dive into Practice Mode and pick the exact fruits and veggies you’re trying in real life!
Here's the juicy stuff you need to know:
- Explore foods as you eat them: Having broccoli tonight? (Yes, the mini trees!) Just select broccoli in Practice Mode, and your little one can explore it in a way that’s both fun and fearless! They can sniff, squish, and taste the foods at the dinner table, right alongside their monster in the game.
- Make food education in the classroom more fun: Learning about lemons? Pick the lemon and play the smell game together. Challenge kids to describe that lemony zing!
- Support sensory education: Explore and describe different sensations! Select a strawberry in Practice Mode and use the Smell Table to describe its sweet fragrance. Place an pineapple on the Touch table to feel its spiky skin - helping kids connect words to their sensory experiences.
This new feature makes trying new foods feel like playtime. Kids can see their monster take the first bite, so they’re not going in alone. It’s a safe space to explore foods and become an adventurous eater, one little nibble at a time!
