## What is Teachers2Parents?

The Teachers2Parents App brings together all the communications you receive from your child's school via Teachers2Parents and SchoolMoney into one simple, easy to use app.
 
If your school uses our Teachers2Parents and/or SchoolMoney products, you can:
•	Sync with all your schools, nurseries and clubs that use Teachers2Parents and/or SchoolMoney.
•	Get an instant overview of outstanding payments, notifications, recent messages, and more in the home page.

If your school uses the Teachers2Parents messaging platform, within the app you will be able to:
•	View all of your messages from the school in the message feed.
•	Have term dates at your fingertips within the Term Calendar section.
•	Keep up-to-date with the latest news and events via the Noticeboard.

If your school uses the SchoolMoney system to manage their parent payments online, you will be able to:
•	Make payments for dinners, trips, clubs, etc.
•	Top up your club and dinner credit balance.
•	Manage parental permissions for trips and more.
•	Purchase shop items.
•	Select meal options for your children's dinners.
•	View transaction, booking, and meal selection history.

To use the Teachers2Parents App your child's school will need to be using the Teachers2Parents and/or SchoolMoney system and have your phone number stored within one of these services; this is controlled solely by the school. Please contact the school for further information.
 
Dinner balances, Shop items, payments, Noticeboard updates, term dates, and the contents of messages are managed by the school - issues or queries surrounding these should be directed to the school.
Some functionality within the app is dependent on the school and the subscriptions they have purchased for the SchoolMoney or Teachers2Parents system.

Apps are truly terrible. Clearly haven’t had any user experience or real world use. I despise using this app, it’s a poor and stressful experience, and I’m an IT professional!

Apple pay is intermittently available. Sometimes the app is down. Spurious bookings. Confusing menu structure.
Why show the dinner booking days with option to bring lunch? Just don’t book that day! Why not show the dinner menu on each day to help with bookings?

It’s so frustrating that our kids’ schools have to use this tripe. Almost every time we open it we have to re-login, or one of ours kids doesn’t show up on it, or it crashes, or it just flat out errors and refuses to let us in (like tonight). As a software developer myself I’d be embarrassed to be a part of the team who shipped this in its current state. Please sort it out or shut it down.

Good app… when it works! It’s so frustrating to have to reenter your card details for every payment. Then the one time you have your card ready to do it, it offers Apple Pay???? It doesn’t even allow for auto fill of card details… Lots of work and one update would sort it to make it so much better!

I can’t use this app it drive me nuts! I want to use the offshoot app School Money but that doesn’t seem to be available on the iPhone. It doesn’t save card details. I can’t login on the web. When I try to pay, I’m asked for verification from my bank but the screen has part cut off so you cant click on the verify button.

But could be better, Apple Pay shows only sometimes. Card details don’t save so you have to input card details on a weekly basis. I’ve had to reinstall the app a few times because there are no dinner bookings are there it only shows messages , notice board, term calendar in the dropdown.

Schools really should use this nonsensical app before they ask parents to navigate this really insane way to move things forwards. It’s like taking 10 steps back! I can’t add my other twin on and I’m not getting any help with adding another child on.

Schools have clearly invested in this app and it seems they are the only ones. The developer needs to sort out the numerous problems with the app from accessing it (crashes immediately) to glitchy functions. Really terrible software design.
