I canceled my subscription two weeks prior to due date and they still charged me. Now they claim they have no record of my cancellation and refuse to refund me. All they care about is sucking money out of you and will not accommodate their clients. ### 1/5 — Scam!! Do not use this app *2026-06-03, version 3.0.13* Avoid. I paid hundreds of dollars for lessons I couldn’t even properly use because my coach was unresponsive, then was hit with another $567 auto-renewal before finishing the lessons I already had. Support refused to make it right. I was charged for a subscription renewal without realizing it was still active, and customer support basically just repeated policy statements instead of trying to help at all. There needs to be a better system for notifying users before charges happen, because this experience felt intentionally difficult and dismissive. It’s frustrating when a company values strict policy over actual customer care. The most frustrating part wasn’t even the charge — it was how dismissive customer support was. Instead of trying to understand the situation, I just received generic responses repeating policy terms. Mistakes happen, and companies should have systems that are clearer and more considerate for users. A simple reminder before renewal or more flexible support would’ve completely changed this experience. ### 1/5 — This app is a scam *2026-05-08, version 3.0.1* BEWARE - There are a LOT of fake reviews on here. The teachers are great, but the company itself will fine print you into extortion. I cancelled a subscription 24 hours after a lesson because I didn’t want to move forward. The company takes away direct communication, so you have to message the “support”, they message the instructor, then the instructor messages them back, who then messages you. It overcomplicates something as simple as coordinating and scheduling, without grasping the scope of what you’re paying for. After cancelling within the 24 hour period, they went ahead and charged me $600. After hours of messaging their “support”, they’re saying there is “nothing they can do” about issuing a refund. When you try to call their phone number, it is a bot line that just repeats an automated message and keeps ringing endlessly. I wish I read reviews on Reddit before moving forward with them, as there are a lot of other people with the same experience of them taking money and refusing to give a refund despite the legitimacy of the claim. Save yourself the hassle, and look up people you can contact directly in your area. This company isn’t accredited with the BBB for a reason. Learn from my mistakes. ### 1/5 — No warning payment button on homepage *2026-05-06, version 3.0.0* Did a free trial and wanted more information about the subscription before committing. On the homepage, they advertise it so I clicked thinking it would give me information or prompts. But no, with no warning, no confirmation, not even an option to pick another card, they charge me in full. Contacted them about it and they said they’ll send this to their team and expect a response in 24-48hours. I waited and they response 48 hours later saying because its been past 24 hours they can no longer refund.. But I did cancelled and reached out within 24 hours, but they will not honor their 24 hour grace period! I can see the idea of this app being good but it’s still so far from it. It’s set up to get loads of money from people accidentally subscribing or forgetting to unsubscribe and giving us a hard time to cancel. ### 1/5 — Will not issue refund *2026-05-05, version 3.0.0* This app is a great idea, but my coach canceled 8 days ago and I am still battling for my $217 refund. Now, I have to pay full price for a free trial without getting reiumbursed. Interesting concept, ran poorly. Better apps out there ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Watch out for scammers *2026-08-23, version 3.0.35* I’m not sure if they vet the coach on the app. Have been trying to work with this one coach and always had last minute change, literally last minute: first time they said they were sick, second time they said they didn’t have their tennis ball baskets, then last time wasn’t sure if the court was ok so had to find a new court. All communications happened an hour before the class and nothing was resolved. I had to postpone the class three times so that the credit won’t just get used. It dawned on me that they could be scammers. Even if they aren’t, then they’re just extremely unprofessional…Ended up canceling the class with this coach and will request refund. ### 1/5 — Be Careful! *2026-08-19, version 3.0.34* This app uses unethical billing practices to subscribe you. It misleads to make it seem you are paying for a set of lessons, waits to charge you so you forget, then locks you into a subscription even if you didn’t finish the lessons you originally paid for. ### 1/5 — Bad Refund Policy *2026-08-06, version 3.0.34* I was charged for a recurring monthly subscription, and asked to be refunded because I don’t plan on using those lessons. They refused. Terrible customer service. ### 1/5 — Deceiving subscription service *2026-08-03, version 3.0.34* I signed up for 4 lessons, but this fraudulent company kept charging me after the fact when I wasn’t even taking lessons. The coach never said a thing to me even though he was being paid! Very shady and slimy business practices here. I highly recommend avoiding TeachMe.To!!! ### 1/5 — Horrible app that is a scam *2026-08-01, version 3.0.34* Beware! When I was signed up, I was told I was buying 5 lessons with a free lesson included. I was never told the guy was enrolling me in an auto-renewing subscription. My kids haven’t even gotten to do more than 2 days because the coach canceled the lessons due to weather, but I was charged for another month! I contacted customer service a day after I was charged wanting to get a refund for the extra 6 lessons I was charged and they told me the package I was enrolled in was a subscription and there was nothing I could do about it. ### 1/5 — Bonkers Cancellation Policy *2026-07-26, version 3.0.31* It’s really easy to accidentally press the button that charges you right away. Once i realized that it charged me, i contacted customer support right away to request a refund. They cited their cancellation policy and refused to provide a refund. The app does make it easy to find coaches, but i’ll stay away from an app that makes it so easy to accidentally charge fees and difficult to get a cancel/get a refund. ### 1/5 — Steals your money *2026-07-16, version 3.0.31* Be careful, they sell lesson packages but then charge you a subscription. Once the charge has gone through they will refuse to pay you back, I’m gone $150 due to this bs ### 1/5 — Unethical Billing Practices *2026-07-15, version 3.0.27* BEWARE - this company will sneakily turn your purchases into subscriptions without making it clear that they will be billing you again. ### 1/5 — Shady Auto-Renewals with No Refunds *2026-07-10, version 3.0.27* They trap you into auto-renewed subscriptions with unclear information when it will renew. They do not do money refunds and have terrible customer service. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but within just a couple of hours the coach confirmed my lesson and in a few days I will be meeting with him. So far the app has been easy to use and is very intuitive. As a single woman I was nervous about booking private boxing lessons with a man I did not know. Being able to review the profile, even select a coach that has been background checked, made me feel safe.
