### 5/5 — Great Stuff

*2016-02-18, version 1.1*

Very useful

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Crash Monitor

*2023-02-04, version 3.2.1*

The app keeps crashing or malfunctioning. There is nothing in settings. It wants you to chose a team but there is no way in settings to do that. Poor organization.

### 1/5 — Texas Monitor replaces Orangebloods Monitor

*2022-04-11, version 3.2.0*

Since the unannounced app upgrade I can no longer access the phone app. I have emailed Brian Bartow and Geoff Kerchum multiple time. Brian did at least respond.

After copious screenshot shares, Brian announced this is a Rivals issue. I mean, how could there be something wrong with his app.

While I can successfully log on and access OB on a computer browser. I cannot log onto the site with my same credentials. As a practical matter, I never manage to reach a sign-in screen.

How is this issue beyond their scope of care?

Word to the wise, this app offers no direct technical support. When you do finally get Brian on board, it doesn’t get any better.

I only wish I could give them a zero.

### 1/5 — Login

*2022-02-22, version 3.1.0*

I have been trying to login for several months to no avail. It is for sure that since you got my money you could care less if you help me or not. I will have to cancel it at the end of the the year. I will trash talk it everyday on my Facebook page

### 2/5 — Update killed service

*2022-04-13, version 3.2.0*

Since the update, I’ve had issues with the my threads tab. When selected, it shows the “thinking” circle but never shows any threads. I’ve gone to settings to try and fix as well as deleting and reinstalling the app with no luck. I haven’t been getting system notifications from the app either. Has gone on at least for a couple of days.

### 3/5 — Just can’t trust the app

*2023-10-21, version 3.3.2*

Was working fine than all of a sudden the app stopped sending alerts and updating the My Thread section. Can be better.

### 3/5 — It’s decent

*2021-04-21, version 2.6.2*

Wish you could actually switch between the sites in real time without closing the app

### 3/5 — Pretty lame

*2019-07-25, version 2.5.4*

You still have to subscribe to the real sources of the news so what’s the use?!?!

### 4/5 — Needs updating

*2021-01-29, version 2.6.2*

With the new iOS 14.4 seems to block postings. Other than that best site to get all University of Texas info and chat.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. We do update the app regularly to coincide with major iOS releases, as you can see from the version history. Are there particular issues you have run into with a recent iOS release?

In regards to the threads themselves, we do not moderate any content from any of the sites we support. We simply include those threads in the app. If you have an issue with a particular site, we recommend you reach out to the moderators of that site to address your concerns about content.

### 5/5 — Monitor App

*2024-04-23, version 3.4.2*

What a great way to consume OrangeBloods or other Longhorn message boards. New update is amazing! Love the ability to bring up the main board with a single click. Wish it worked full screen on iPad, maybe next time.

### 5/5 — Great for InsideTexas.com

*2021-08-02, version 3.0.1*

Strongly recommended to use iOS notifications to keep tabs on new Members Only posts, or to follow your favorite moderator or poster.

## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2018-10-25, version 2.5.1*

Hands down the best way to consume all things Longhorns Sports. All the major insider sites and message boards, perfect and customizable alerts. This app is easily dominating my iOS screen time usage in a scary way. Love it. Recommend it. Download it.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2018-01-24, version 2.4.9*

Easily stay on top of Texas news

### 5/5 — Terrific

*2017-05-23, version 2.2.2*

Notifies me of trending posts and let's me go to one place on my phone to read them all. Huge timesaver.

### 5/5 — Perfect app for any die hard Longhorn fan.

*2017-03-10, version 2.2.0*

This simple app brings all your favorite longhorn message boards together (Orangebloods, 247, Inside Texas) into one little package.

Set alerts based on pinned threads, hot threads, or by specific user. Full browser view through safari WebKit, bringing all the web features to mobile.

Been using it for about a month and no longer use mobile browser or apps besides this.

### 5/5 — Terrific App

*2017-01-06, version 2.1.1*

As an avid reader of the Rivals site Orangebloods, this app has transformed my mobile experience using this website. Anyone who has complaints with Rivals IT and the mobile site, should use OB Monitor. And just to show how strongly I feel, this is my first review ever for an IPhone app.

### 5/5 — Great product

*2016-12-18, version 2.0.1*

Much better than the Rivals app.

### 5/5 — If you want to view OB, this is the way to do it.

*2016-12-05, version 2.0*

The app works great, everything is simple and easy! The notifications are a nice touch for those of us that are busy but don't want to miss the big things on the board. Overall, great.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2016-02-18, version 1.1*

Even better than getting the newsletter.
