### 3/5 — Missed opportunities

*2026-07-23, version 5.4.19*

Team RWB is great, but this push for an app will never engage members like Facebook did. The casual member or prospective veteran looking to connect with Team RWB won’t use separate apps to find the events in their area. And I understand why the organization wants a standalone app, but ask yourself why the engagement has dropped year over year and you may want to consider the push to an app and all the virtual activities that do nothing to increase engagement.

### 5/5 — New Member

*2025-03-21, version 4.13.7*

So far, so good. I just became a member earlier this month and I’m excited to take part in some of the events. I like the vast amount of resources that they have throughout the states. I think the app is a more friendly experience, that will further communication amongst the veteran community.

### 2/5 — Notifications

*2025-01-11, version 4.13.7*

Stop with the notifications. You select no notifications in the settings for likes and you still get them. Turn sounds off in phone settings for app and you still get them.

### 5/5 — Stronger than ever thanks to this app!

*2024-12-10, version 4.12.4*

The missions and fitness challenges in this app really help me stay consistent with working out! I also love the big fitness goal setting- I worked all year on a goal because of this organization, really awesome.

### 5/5 — Team RWB is incredible!

*2024-11-30, version 4.11.21*

Highly recommended for those that serve or have served this great country! It helps keep me sane and makes me want to Go One More!

### 5/5 — Team RWB - amazing team & app

*2024-11-16, version 4.11.21*

App is stellar- as a family member of generations of veterans - thank you RWB for all your continued hard work on this app in working towards the RWB commitment of better days ahead for our veterans (and veteran supporters).

### 5/5 — Everything I need

*2024-09-28, version 4.11.7*

After moving around most of my adult life, I have lost touch with many friends made over the years. The Team RWB community and app have given me a support system that is with me no matter where I move to next. The app is a great tool that helps me find events in my local area or when I travel. They also have fun challenges I can do on my own. I am so thankful to have found this community for veterans and supporters.

### 3/5 — Getting better

*2024-09-27, version 4.11.7*

The RWB app is constantly improving!

### 5/5 — Amazing Platform

*2024-09-26, version 4.11.7*

Open to anyone, user-friendly, and offers a truly welcoming atmosphere. Unique social media experience that is essentially a community of people across the country, and world, specifically communicating to encourage one another in living active, healthy lifestyles.

### 5/5 — RWB APP

*2024-09-25, version 4.11.7*

Easy to use as both a member as well as a volunteer leader. Sets up quickly and allows reoccurring events.

### 5/5 — Great App & Organization

*2024-09-23, version 4.11.7*

The app is always being updated to support the Team, occasional bugs creep in, but the tech team is responsive to getting things back on track. The app is great for connecting with fellow Veterans and supporters.

### 5/5 — Great app for sure

*2024-09-23, version 4.11.7*

Awesome way to connect with veterans and friends to stay active and healthy. Find start or create goals have people there to back you up and help push you. Great app through and through

### 2/5 — Forced on the Masses

*2024-09-22, version 4.11.7*

Let’s time travel to the year 2006, because this app is like MySpace without the theme song for your page. Digging to find events and even building them is a pain. Trying to change your profile picture is like pulling teeth and of course, good look with the glitchy trying to find your team page to post. Then there’s followers. On FB, I can send a PM to someone that I’m friends with or follows me. Not so much here. I think it’s laughable to force folks to steer away from FB and use this app. It only takes a moment to Google our organization and see the spending spree taking place. We aren’t about vets anymore…we’re about filling the coffers at national level and justifying this joke of an app. So other than check ins which aren’t too glitchy…I don’t like it.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2024-09-21, version 4.11.7*

Great app!

### 4/5 — Adding Events

*2024-09-21, version 4.11.7*

As an EL I should be able to create Chapter events without having to remember how to log in. My log in should take me right to the page.

### 5/5 — Finding Strength and Camaraderie at Medawisla with Team RWB

*2024-09-20, version 4.11.7*

I attended a winter adventure with Team RWB at Medawisla Lodge, and I can honestly say it was one of the most fulfilling experiences I've had in a long time. The trip was organized as a winter getaway with a mixed group of veterans, and it was exactly what I needed. We spent our days snowshoeing through the beautiful, serene forests and cross-country skiing across pristine snow-covered trails. The physical activity was challenging but invigorating, and the best part was doing it with others who understood the importance of shared experiences.

What made the trip even more special was the bond I formed with my fellow veterans. Whether it was during the activities or sitting by the fire at night, we shared stories, laughed, and supported each other in ways that only a community like this can provide. It wasn't just a physical adventure; it was an emotional recharge, reminding me how important connection and camaraderie are, especially during tough times.

The Team RWB app is also a fantastic tool, acting as a built-in support network. I’m constantly receiving encouragement from others to push myself to grow and improve. The app also keeps me engaged with local events, giving me more opportunities to connect with others in my area and continue to stay active.

Overall, this experience was more than just a trip; it was a reminder of the power of community and the importance of staying connected. Team RWB provides an incredible platform for veterans to not only stay physically active but to find a network of support that truly understands the challenges we face.

### 5/5 — Great application TeamRWB

*2024-09-20, version 4.11.7*

I am rather new to the organization/app but have thoroughly enjoyed getting out with other veterans to walk and socialize. Last week I took the opportunity to take pictures of flowers and a bird. Not only does this gives me the opportunity to be with like minded individuals but to also socialize with our community members. They too ask about our organization and thank us for our services.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2025-08-29, version 5.2.1*

Downloaded the app and got locked up at step #2 w/the verification code. An email was sent indicating that someone in Boston Ma is trying to authenticate my account. I’m in Southern California not Boston

### 1/5 — RWB is a toxic climate at national level.

*2024-11-03, version 4.11.19*

First of all, this app is glitchy, not user friendly, and users are under too much control and monitoring. Secondly, Mackenzie Scott has given a sizeable donation to RWB earmarked and with the contingent that the members must use this new app (quite a lot of members are hesitant on giving up their personal information that may be mined for nefarious purposes). Furthermore, RWB is looking for a solution of the leadership problem involving the toxic climate at the national level, this app is not it!

### 1/5 — I hope Team RWB can get better

*2024-09-26, version 4.11.7*

When the app first started and just showed events, it was a good idea. Now they’re trying to turn it into the everything app, which means they’re only competing with Elon Musk and Zuckerberg. Just show me events in my area and let me see if I want to go.

And why must I put in a username and password just to see events? Am I only allowed to go if I’m a member? Are they taking roll?

Just to close the loop on this whole escapade: I made the above review because RWB asked for reviews. Rather than take criticism for this review and get better, a staff member contacted me directly to discuss this review… but didn’t actually focus on any of the issues in the review, just that I apparently think he’s an okay guy and should use his status as an okay guy, not actually wanting to help veterans, as a basis for being okay with the app and to a larger extent the direction of the organization. I can tell you, he may be an okay guy, he’s just not concerned with making the organization better.

Apparently Team RWB has a slack channel devoted to negative reviews where paid employees just comment about how they can’t understand why anyone won’t join in the group think.

So then I’m kicked from large portions of the organization (literally entirely removed from my local chapter’s Facebook group by a paid staffer), so I can see that there’s really no point in sticking around as you must at least 4 star the app and sell it like the guys on Glenngarry Glenn Ross or you will not be allowed to partake.

I’m fine with this. It’s not my intellectual property, I don’t sit on the board, they can fire me, and I’m more than happy to leave given the direction of the organization.

As a result of my own concern about my data being used for various purposes, I try to delete my account through the app as the app tells me I can. I press the button to delete my account, enter my password, and wait. Only it doesn’t work.

Think about that. The app is so rinky dink, you can’t even leave the organization using it even though the buttons exist, and for some reason paid staff talks about the importance of data security and privacy… something veterans care about a lot.

I ended up having to post pictures of my failed attempts to leave the app in the app itself in order to get them to delete my data.

When they want to start serving veterans again, RWB knows where to find me.

If you’re a veteran, be careful what organizations you join and don’t get sentimental when they turn into something you can’t back.

### 1/5 — What a joke!

*2024-01-19, version 4.3.10*

I was with Team RBW for several years until another member (my ex) lied and had me removed. Since then I have learned that many people have been driven away from the group due to senseless, ridiculous drama whether in or out of the group. Very click-ish. Approach with caution. Good luck.

### 1/5 — Right away!

*2022-12-29, version 3.4.8*

First thing happens after I finish registering, there’s an error with the system and uploading. Wow. And where’s the Retirement section for us that did over 20 plus?

### 1/5 — Home address

*2022-07-09, version 3.1.2*

I was curious about the app because I got the email from the VA telling me about team RWB but it asks for your home address on signup. Super invasive when it could easily just ask for our zip code for event logistics. Wish I wouldn’t have even submitted my email at this point. Weird.

### 1/5 — Why Do You Need My Home Address?

*2022-06-30, version 3.1.2*

Requires way too much personal info - why do I need to provide my home address just to see what’s going on in my local area? …and why does your Board of Directors have zero Enlisted representation?

### 1/5 — App difficult

*2021-06-06, version 2.2.7*

I'm having a really hard time with the app--
It will not open when I'm AWAY from home!!
When I'm away it asks me to log in; then tellS me my password is invalid !!

### 1/5 — Lots of bugs

*2021-05-08*

I always get multiple errors with this app including “retrieving your feed”, “no local chapter selected” (and it is), virtual events will turn my entire screen white (have to force close every time I try to view it), and I it seems like the developers try to fix the app in a live environment so other things are randomly breaking. The only response to fix the problem is to try and uninstall and reinstall the app which does nothing. It is very frustrating as a member who wants to participate in events and I cannot do so because I cannot find them when I want.

### 1/5 — What the?!

*2020-06-17, version 1.27.7*

I was asked to down load this app so I could check into events . Well none of the events show despite resetting location . And the apps real estate is larger than my screen .

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — One Team

*2026-08-14, version 5.4.19*

An excellent group of individuals to be around, support, and train with. Every event that I have been to where I've seen someone representing Team RWB has always been a pleasant interaction, and I can't say enough good things about them.

### 5/5 — Truly grateful.

*2026-07-17, version 5.4.19*

Just joined the group after years of not feeling like I had purpose or many people to relate too. The virtual and location based opportunities are truly a blessing for those of us that still have that instilled drive to push forward in life and keep challenging ourselves. Meeting others with this passion is saving my life.

### 5/5 — Best veterans app

*2025-11-03, version 5.3.7*

A great app to find fellow battles and participate in events. Being out now, I don’t miss the circus, but I miss the clowns.

Come join and meet up with others that have lived the life and knew the challenges.

### 5/5 — Videos?!
