I am finding that there are options overlapping one another and the text isn’t even that big. This just needs to be redesigned so that the text will remain proportionally spaced depending on what size the text is actually sat at in iOS. Thank you though for your work that you have done so far to make the app accessible. ### 3/5 — Connection keeps dropping and some suggestions *2020-08-18, version 5.6* The connection keeps dropping on mobile. It’s not the server, because when I do it on the computer, with version 5.4.0, it’s fine. Please update to fix this problem. Also, I would like the ability to add user accounts from mobile if you are an admin on the server. Also to edit your server properties from mobile would be nice. Also, the connection on the newest version on PC and Mac, which I believe is version 5.6, keeps dropping. Please also fix this. ### 4/5 — User and password’s *2019-10-14, version 5.4* Great app. I feel like peole on iphone and androids should be able to create user accounts if they are admins. If it’s possible, i’d relly like to see this happen. Otherwise, like i said. Great app. ### 4/5 — IOS Bluetooth Trouble *2019-10-05, version 5.4* I absolutely love this app. However, it doesn't work well with Bluetooth listening devices. I recently upgraded from an iPhone 5S to an 8, which, as you may know does not have a 3.5 mm jack. I've tried several different Bluetooth headsets and earbuds, and they either don't work at all or have a choppy signal. If there's a trick to making them work I'd sure love to know about it. I'm not the only one with those issues. ### 4/5 — Overall great program with a couple of exceptions. *2019-04-18, version 5.3.4* Overall I am impressed with TeamTalk. Both the desktop and the app are accessible using screen meters. My problem with the desktop is that their mute system does not work. I.e. use the drop-down menu and select mute and it does not meet you. If you would like to mute you need to use their push to talk settings. My issue with the app is that once you join a channel a button appears which is a green having some vision a green button indicates it is OK to start talking. This is not the case you have to push the button soon as it turns red which means the other people the channel can hear you this seems counterintuitive, and may be a symptom of the larger societal problem of the black-and-white views of blind people. I.e. you can either see everything, or nothing. However this does not mean I will stop using the app. It is a wonderful communication tool. And maybe with a minor tweak or two would be an exampl communication tool ### 4/5 — Webcam subscription needs fixed for iPhone users *2018-11-27, version 5.3.4* Good program but webcam subscriptions need fixed for iOS users. You cannot view other users webcam feeds from the iPhone or iPad. But I think it’s about time this app needs a update one feature I would like to have is audio file sharing. ### 4/5 — Support making other users channel operator *2018-06-28, version 5.3.2* This is a great app, but it needs to have the ability to make other users channel operator. It also needs to have the ability to be able to hear when people log into the server not just when they join your channel. All in all, fantastic app! ### 4/5 — Wonderful app… *2017-12-31* this app is really easy to use. I am totally blind, and I find it simple, yet very effective. What I would like to see added, is the ability to manage user accounts, by this I mean the user accounts that are on the server. I would also like the ability to be able to transmit video from my phone. I think this would help many Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod users as you would not have to be on a PC to be able to stream video and manage user accounts. ### 4/5 — Good but a little buggy *2017-11-21, version 5.2.4* It is a good app. The bug is when i don’t transmet on an iPad the audio cuts out ### 4/5 — Needs support for adding and editing user accounts on a server *2017-11-02, version 5.2.3* I think that this would be awesome as I am an admin of some team talk server's. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Sound problem iOS 26 *2026-01-30, version v5.19* Since updating to iOS 26, there is a serious audio issue in TeamTalk. When echo cancellation is enabled, the microphone appears to be disabled and no sound is transmitted. When echo cancellation is disabled, there is an audible voice feedback, as if my own voice is coming back. This makes it impossible to use TeamTalk properly, especially for voice communication without headphones. This issue did not occur before iOS 26. Please investigate and fix this problem. ### 1/5 — Problem with the echo cancellation *2025-09-15, version v5.19* Since the iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 update released today on iPhone and iPad there is a nasty problem with the voice preprocessing on the application it no longer works correctly which means that when we speak. And when others speak, there is a big echo feedback. Please fix this problem as soon as possible because I am a big user of the application and I prefer when it works correctly and not when it does not work correctly. ### 1/5 — shut it down *2024-11-30, version 5.16* honestly the features on this app are amazing but, the amount of spam and bullying that goes on is astounding. I have been on a lot of apps for the blind. This one has been one of the most toxic ones. I encourage others to stay away if you don't wanna deal with a bucket load of drama. I encourage others to come forward if they have been bullied on this application. ### 1/5 — Problème with iOS 13. *2019-09-24, version 5.4* since the last update of Apple's operating system, iOS 13, the application has a lot of compatibility issues. I'm also having a problem right now for VoiceOver users. When we close the application after using it, for example after being on a server, we completely lose the sound of the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, it can be very frustrating for users who have already encountered problems it-it-to-the-power-to-restart their phone ### 1/5 — PLEASE FIX THE ISSUE *2018-04-08, version 5.3* I have a t-mobile and app does not connetct with my cellular data works just on wifi connection. I have IPV6 stream and seems like team talk just supports IPV4 ### 2/5 — Sound and bluetooth *2022-09-20, version 5.9* Since the release of iOS 16, i can't use any bluetooth audio device like AirPods or bluetooth headset. When i try to use my AirPods 3, the sound go directly to the speaker... I don't kno if it's a bug with iOS, or if it's the app that need an update... ### 2/5 — needs to improve with cellular connectivity *2017-02-05, version 5.2.1* This most recent update promised a fix with cellular connectivity. That has not happened. It needs to be fixed ASAP for t-mobile customers. ### 3/5 — Voice Preprocessing issues with iOS 26 *2026-04-21, version 5.22* OVERALL the app is great. The one problem that I have is that I cannot use Voice Preprocessing properly on devices running iOS and iPadOS 26. This feature is highly useful if I want to use TeamTalk without using headphones. The Voice Preprocessing feature still works as expected on devices running iOS and iPadOS 18 and earlier. I know it is not Apple's fault as none of the other applications that I use have this problem. The fact that this problem has not been addressed makes me think that the developer is lazy and does not want to take the time to implement Apple's new callkit standards. ### 3/5 — Headphone troubles *2025-12-20, version v5.19* When I first got the app after a while, I believe I didn’t have to use headphones in order to talk on it, which is useful for me because my ears clogged really easily and wearing headphones is not always good for me, but now whenever I don’t use my headphones it causes a really bad echoing problem and from what I know there’s no way to get around it. Hoping this can get fixed the next time the app is updated. Although I will say, the more customizable an app is, the harder it is for people who don’t understand those options. I've been using it since 2021.
