The other thing I wish it would do is automatically verify me every time I am connecting to the device rather than ask the person I am helping if they want to verify me every time we have a session. I am using it primarily to tutor my elderly mom on the use of her brand new iPad Pro. That was the main reason I installed QuickSupport on her end and TeamViewer on my end. ### 1/5 — Basically useless without remote control *2024-10-08* There is no point even using this app if you can’t remote control another iPhone. I was going to use this app to help a friend with something but I learned I can’t use any controls. This is basically just watching someone’s screen. Different generic error codes about the code being expired or the system not available. I had to give my senior relative in another city his first smart phone and it’s obvious this company has not tested this software on anyone new to smart phones. It seems like an obvious use case - if you struggle enough with your device that you need remote support, why would you make the remote support almost impossible to access. The steps required to get the app going every time are so unintuitive that I had to write down all seven of them. None of the steps were designed with accessibility in mind. At one point in order to click “Continue” you have to move a slider button with tiny text next to it. Also this app doesn’t let you interact with the screen from another iPhone but at least you can see what’s going on. ### 1/5 — Fake upp *2024-07-22, version 15.55.1* It doesn’t work as it says. This app just drops the connection all the time. (Both partners using the most up to date version.). In screen images stops the remote device user being able to see a lot of navigation. Need to restart the app and sharing multiple times.
