## What is TeamWhistle?

TeamWhistle is an watchOS app for hockey umpires that allows you to easily keep track of all match data such as time, cards and goals. It also has a huge amount of extra functionality for all your different umpiring needs such as:
- Workout metrics
- Heatmaps and pitch routes
- Weather information
- Synchronisation of data between users
- Shootout goal tracking
- Digital toss coin

### 1.4 — 2026-06-08

Version 1.4 brings new features including:
- Full in-app tutorial
- Video referral indicators
- Max goalkeeper substitutions
- Timeout trackers
- Full on presets for match details such players per team and shootouts settings
- Automatically start a break

### 1.3 — 2026-04-27

TeamWhistle has been updated with new statistics and functionality.
-After a match, two graphs are displayed showing your running speed and heartrate during the match with goals, cards and penalty corners marked.
-Small UI improvements
-If workouts aren't enabled or available, extended background runtime sessions will be used instead, allowing for background execution even without permission for workouts. However, these background runtime sessions last only 1 hour.

This update has a new improved logo as well as bug fixes. Weather information is now also supported during a match and can be accessed in the Extra Views page in the match settings.
