Still usually works on my laptop, but super frustrating not to be able to check on work while away from my desk. Uninstalling/reinstalling multiple times was no help, no information on tech support available. ### 1/5 — Never loads recent messages *2018-09-24, version 2.5.1* App always notifies you when a new message arrives but it never shows when you open it. We'll have it fixed really soon. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Can’t see messages *2026-08-21* When you try to scroll up slightly to see one older message the screen turns black. ### 1/5 — Awful *2026-07-13* Cant see pictures or GIF’s. Of you try to scroll back through a conversation the chat blacks out. Sometimes old gifs appear where pictures are supposed to be. Messages don’t actually send even though you hit the send button. The worst part is that support acts like they are fixing it but never do. ### 1/5 — Pure rubbish *2025-10-16, version 2.33.0* How did this app go from ok to absolutely unusable rubbish?! I dont even know where to start with the bugs. Try to send an attached image with a message, the app crashes so hard you can hear it on the other side of the planet. You respond to someone else while they are typing? Their message disappears until you reopen the chat. You would think the messages would load in the background when you receive them oh boy. Everything needs to load up again while the UI is jumping up and down like a child on redbull. Either the dev team is made out of juniors and they are seriously underpaid (which i would a 100% understand why they would not be bothered about the state of this app). You guys are probably using this app at Teamwork. No one has ever flagged these issues?? Bruh. 🤦‍♂️ ### 1/5 — Crashes immediately *2025-08-12* Doesn’t even open on ipad ### 1/5 — Missed messages, crashing *2025-05-27* It’d be one thing if this was like a social chat app and someone could miss a cat photo or something, but as a business tool it is a huge and stupid issue where if I send a team member a critical message they only receive it 30% of the time. Less than two weeks after submitting screen shots demonstrating a major bug, the developer has issued a new version that works. I am generally really impressed with the support by the TeamWork team. Submit a ticket regarding any of their products and they respond quickly and with a genuine desire to help. ### 5/5 — Fab app! *2019-02-09, version 2.5.8* The perfect tool for using Chat on the go. Deleted n reinstalled the app-can’t sign in. Had to do couple times. And it worked. ### 4/5 — Dynamic font is a must. *2018-04-09* Dynamic font is a must for old eyes! ### 3/5 — Buggiest business app I use *2020-04-07* Wavered between 2 & 3. Decided to round up. I usually know there's an update when the current version ceases to function properly. Other times, it just stops working right because. Features don't all parallel the web or PC client apps. Aren't even apologetic about the inconsistencies. It's like they're two different companies. Makes it pretty frustrating for our team. In fairness, the programming is getting better and the performance more reliable. This could be a five-star app with a little TLC. Chat is integrated into Teamwork Projects, which we love.
