## What is tebDictate?

tebDictate turns your phone into a wireless microphone for any computer.

Open tebdictate.com/dictate on your Mac or PC, scan the code it shows, and start talking — your words appear on the computer, live, at the cursor. There is nothing to install on the computer, and there is no account to create.

RECOGNISED ON YOUR PHONE
Your speech is turned into text by the on-device recogniser. The audio never leaves the phone. If a language has no on-device speech pack installed, tebDictate refuses to dictate rather than sending your voice to a server.

ENCRYPTED END TO END
Your phone and your browser agree on a key by scanning the code — through the camera, not over the network. Everything sent between them is encrypted with that key. The relay in the middle carries ciphertext it cannot read and deletes it within minutes.

WORKS ON ITS OWN TOO
Dictation pad — dictate straight onto the phone, then copy or share anywhere.
Pocket mode — keep talking with the screen locked; a Lock Screen activity shows the word count.
Apple Watch — start and stop from your wrist.
Dictation keyboard — insert what you dictated into any app.
Spoken commands — "new line", "new paragraph", "period", "scratch that".
