### 2/5 — Horrendous App

*2026-04-24*

The only reason I gave this two stars is because I do use it to check appointment times.

However, there are so many glitches that it is otherwise useless. Instead, I have to access the desktop site via my mobile, which is also very difficult.

Tebra really needs to up their game in all areas.

### 1/5 — Horrible, useless app

*2026-03-01, version 2.17.9*

I can access my Tebra account online via my desktop but not the app. Have tried every troubleshooting option available and still can’t get access.

### 1/5 — New app is worse than older version

*2026-02-03, version 2.17.9*

The new app has so many new problems that I never had with the old one. It changes appointment times, messes up peoples birthdates, and will not let you delete a single occurrence appointment from recurring appointments without cancelling the whole thing. Very frustrated and disappointed.

### 1/5 — No Apple Health integration.

*2026-02-01, version 2.17.9*

No Apple Health integration.

### 1/5 — Terrible, avoid

*2026-01-08, version 2.17.9*

My patient scheduled doesn’t sync with the app. Only half the patients on app show up on schedule making it worse then it not working at all. I’ve called for months, they never fix anything. Tech support just says wait until the next app update (which doesn’t fix it). I would totally avoid this EHR.

### 1/5 — Awful app

*2026-01-05, version 2.17.9*

Terrible app that doesn’t even speak to the patient portal. Nothing but empty promises.

### 1/5 — Poor app

*2026-01-05, version 2.17.9*

Appt don’t show. Always crashing. Not fully functioning. Needs a major upgrade for the amount of money we pay monthly.

### 1/5 — Product has gone downhill

*2025-12-18*

Since transitioning from karaoke to Tera, myself and other providers have had nothing but problems with both their smart phone app and desktop platforms. Unfortunately I am tied in through my billing company or else I would have dropped the platform sometime ago. It has gotten to the point where I have considered changing billing companies or even going back to paper notes or doing my own billing because fixing their mistakes is time consuming. Unless something significantly changes in the near future, I would highly recommend looking into a different EHR if it is an option.

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2025-12-10, version 2.17.8*

App will not show patients appointments in the calendar if they schedule online. Makes the app worthless. Patient will never show on the schedule.

### 1/5 — Would not recommend!!!

*2025-12-10*

The Tebra EHR on the desktop is constantly malfunctioning. The app is absolutely useless. I have downloaded it multiple times and it doesn’t even open. I got it to open on my iPad only for it to close out the app every time I try to go into a patient chart. This is by far the worst DHR system I have ever used. Also, their customer service is absolutely useless.

### 1/5 — This app doesn’t work.

*2025-12-01*

I just downloaded this app as per my doctors office now uses this platform. Well, I’m able to login perfectly fine online. I try logging in on the app for months now and this apps creators won’t even fix the issue. They try to make my doctor fix it. She’s tried many times. But no it won’t work and Tebra still doesn’t care.

### 1/5 — Bad software’s

*2025-11-19, version 2.17.8*

Frequent outages. And the latest annoyance: despite putting my password in and choosing face recognition, app is requiring me to sign back in and set up an account every single time.

### 1/5 — Features taken away

*2025-10-29, version 2.17.8*

I don’t like how it’s hard to schedule on this app. Also, the feature of viewing refills and refilling them is not available, even though it is on our desktop version. I find this app very un user-friendly and not productive for our practice.

### 1/5 — Login

*2025-10-25, version 2.17.8*

Puedo entrar a mi cuenta a través de la web, pero no a través del app.

### 1/5 — Calendar doesn’t sync

*2025-10-07, version 2.17.8*

No real usability as many things do not sync therefore making the entire app not trustworthy

### 1/5 — Not working

*2025-10-04, version 2.17.8*

Crashes and doesn't work anymore.

### 1/5 — ICD10 coding poor

*2025-10-02*

ICD 10 coding poor to nonexistent. Have to look up each diagnosis’ ICD10 online on my iPhone then enter in Assessment problem section or use AI scribe coding - I’m using DeepScribe which does a lot better in providing ICD codes than TEBRA EHR.
I notified TEBRA of this major time consuming problem a couple years ago with no resulting improvement or feedback which is why I’m posting it here as a warning/FYI to prospective TEBRA users. Athens EHR was way better at coding but TRBRA much more affordable that’s why I’m still using TEBRA but don’t understand why they won’t fix this data base interface coding problem for us- would save hours of documentation work for us doctors.

### 2/5 — Useful… when it works

*2025-09-26*

In theory this is a perfect adjunct to accessing your EHR on the go. Slim interface, nice integration with IOS and supports charting!

Regrettably, there are myriad minor bugs that make its reliability inadequate for actual clinical use. Tech support acknowledges the bugs, and has yet to solve anything.

I love Tebra, it’s revolutionized my practice! But, don’t rely on this app. Get a tablet and run the web app in desktop mode instead!

### 1/5 — Can’t Log In

*2025-09-20, version 2.17.8*

downloaded app on 9/20/25 and it won’t even let me log in. No tech support available. Online version is lacking. MyChart is better. Wish therapists would use that.

### 1/5 — Notes not working

*2025-09-20, version 2.17.8*

Now the notes section is not working. Every time you try to create a note of any kind no matter the note type it gives you the same nonsense error so we literally cannot add notes to patient charts

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-06-03, version 2.18.2*

Unreliable. Just like their PC platform.

### 1/5 — Do not sign up

*2026-05-15, version 2.18.1*

Highly do not recommend them. Extremely poor customer service. System is very old and poorly set up

### 1/5 — Apple app DOESNT WORK

*2026-05-14, version 2.18.1*

App will not log in. Freezes. No use downloading.

### 1/5 — App was okay, now unusable

*2026-05-06*

I’ve been using Tebra for about 7 years now. The web based EHR is good, but the app has always been usable but not great and quite limiting. Not able to send prescription. Not able to send consent forms when scheduling patients. Problems half the time changing appointment times or days.
However, the latest update has caused the app to crash immediately upon clicking on a patient. So frustrating. The web based EHR on the phone is hard to use, for it is not setup for mobile devices.
Tebra, please fix this fast!!!

### 1/5 — Notifications

*2026-04-30, version 2.18.1*

Does not send push notifications like they promise. Missed appointments and missed profits.

### 1/5 — Errors

*2026-04-30, version 2.18.0*

The system is not working on the app

### 1/5 — Money Money Money

*2026-04-24, version 2.18.0*

I have been with Kareo/Tebra for over 10 years, all this company cares about is your money!!!! No customer service I am going out of business and they will not help me and trying to hold me to a contract after 10 years. So don’t do business with them!!

### 1/5 — Junk

*2026-04-22, version 2.18.0*

Can’t even login to app. Can login on computer but not app. Tried several times. Even changed password on webpage on computer but no luck.

### 1/5 — YGWYPF

*2026-04-18, version 2.18.0*

Lousy App.
Poor EMR functionality.
You Get What You Pay For

### 1/5 — App update

*2026-03-24, version 2.17.9*

Last update was awful! Now unable to see open notes, chart for my phone, frequent crashing, and incomplete schedule showing up, opening us up for constant scheduling errors. Do better.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Md

*2025-04-30, version 2.16.3*

Excellent . I have loved Kareo and Tebra for the last 11 years. User friendly and reports are so good and billing is so easier so I can focus with my patients care.

### 5/5 — Good app for basic functions.

*2023-05-15, version 2.10.1*

The app does what it needs to for our clinic.

### 5/5 — So far so good

*2021-05-11, version 2.7.8*

I’ve seen several negative reviews so I’m careful not to do too much on the app. However, I’ve successfully written notes and scheduled patients with no issues. It’s also my go-to for quick communication with staff after hours. I’ve also uploaded pics and other docs right into patients’ charts thru the app. It’s working well and saves a lot of time.

### 5/5 — Use this app single day all the time

*2019-03-26*

I use this Kareo App every single day of the week. From refilling prescriptions, checking on the financial status of my practice, to scheduling, charting, uploading documents, viewing patients medical record, reviewing last office note, charting vital signs to chart/graph improvements or worsening blood pressure and weights. Communication with patients and staff via the messaging. I’ve got all three modules at no cost as long as I hired them to do my billing which they do a great job. They are continuing to improve the app on a regular basis, are working on bugs to fix them. I use the iPad as well as iPhone versions. All my staff uses the apps and prefer it to the desktop or web app version. I upload my diagnostic images from my X-ray machine right into their charts. I use the iPhone voice recognition to dictate my notes. Can’t say enough good about this app. Have used it since Nov 2017 and man has it gotten better with the improvements. 5 stars isn’t enough.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2021-09-08, version 2.8.5*

I love I can chart right from my phone 📱 in a business IV Therapy med spa. The speed of app on my phone is always slow.

### 4/5 — Just Like the Website (only one kink)!!

*2020-06-26, version 2.7.0*

Very useful, very secure, is just like the website. The only thing I don’t like is that the schedule does not update when you first log-in. You have to click to around in the app to a different screen then come back to the calendar to show the most up-to-date schedule. I have almost missed an appt (or come into the office for no reason) because I was going based on the calendar that first shows up and it did not show someone who was added/canceled for that day.

### 4/5 — Great so far, with two suggestions

*2017-08-01*

This far this has been a great app to view our patient schedules and associated documentation. I have two suggestions for improvements.

1) A 4-digit pin is inadequate considering the sensitive information contained with a practice's account. I suggest a 6 or 8-digit pin, or the option of a swipe pattern, for both fast access and security.

2) When viewing the calendar when I click on an item it displayed the patient's general information. At the bottom left is the "go to chart" link. Clicking that takes me to the patient's chart. However there's no "back" button to return me to where I was. So I have to navigate manually back to the calendar. This is a real pain especially when I'm looking at calendar appointments weeks into the future because i must scroll to find where I was before.

**Developer response:** Hi there,

Thanks for taking the time to review our application and provide product feedback. We will definitely take a look at longer PIN codes, given that biometric ID is much more prolific now than it was in times past. Secondly, we are aware that a back button to dismiss the chart and return to the appointment is a workflow that is sorely missed. We're working on shoring up that gap. Hope you have a great holiday!

### 3/5 — Ridiculously flawed and buggy

*2025-07-20*

This app never works properly. It’s in consistent, crashes frequently. No updates seem to fix the issue. For a company valued at 1billion dollars, who also charges its monthly providers, ridiculous fee, you figure the app would be a little bit more quality. So sick of this app. Considering
Changing to Simple Practice

### 3/5 — Is there a way to add group appointments?

*2025-05-08, version 2.16.3*

Eh

### 3/5 — Such potential

*2024-10-28*

I love this app and when it works appropriately, it saves me a great deal of time! HOWEVER, this past three weeks I am only able to login once and then have to restart my phone with subsequent login attempts. Please fix this!
