## What is TechScout Touch?

Simplify your lighting equipment orders with TechScout Touch, Lighting Edition! “It’s like having your own Best Boy, even if you are one.”

TechScout Touch is designed for lighting professionals in the Movie, TV, Commercial, and Video production industry. The app helps you to create lighting equipment rental orders which can be submitted to rental houses or studio Set Lighting or Grip Departments. The latest version features a highly improved interface, cloud syncing, and a curated lighting and grip equipment lists of over 6,000 items. These items are arranged into hundreds of categories and subcategories making your equipment list easy to read and simple to understand. Can’t remember what category an item is in? Just use the newly added search feature to display an editable list of the gear you are looking for.

Featuring a simple interface, you can easily include important job and production information including purchase order, quote number, crew info, location ink, custom tags and Pickup and Delivery information.  The cloud collaboration allows crews to create lists which can be started by the DP, Gaffer or Key grip, and then managed by the rigging keys or best boys. All data can be stored in the cloud and shared across multiple devices.  Within minutes, you will have created a professional, well-organized equipment list ready to be emailed to anyone.

This app is really great! The VFX department was sharing a note on our phones until the key grip showed us this app. So nice to be able to see what equipment is going to be used!  It really helped our VFX planning while working at the AR Wall during filming for Avengers Endgame (Disney/Marvel).

This is awesome! Perfect for indie shoots as it lists so many lighting options. My only complaint is that is crashes from my iPad and my 3G iPhone when I try to send the job order. Works great from a 3GS iPhone.
