It doesn’t have proper error messaging. The problem resolves if i update iOS /Windows version or ensure i am on same network. I can’t imagine trying to manage the many screen captures, walk-throughs, training manuals, and just general “here’s how to” that I do every day. Being able to quickly locate past screen captures through their incredible library has keep things organized for years. I can already capture my screen in iOS with native apps and features. The only reason why I’d want this particular application is because it would hook up to my screen cast.com account so I could upload my captures directly there, however, this ridiculous app doesn’t allow that and instead forces me to connect to my computer and send the screen capture over there, requiring me to then get on my computer and send the screen capture to screencast.com. What kind of ridiculous set up is this? The whole point for the iOS capture is to be able to bypass my computer if I’m on my iOS device only. Why then would I have an extra step needed to turn on my computer and then send a video from there instead of directly from my iOS device where it originated? Absolutely pointless, and stupid and ridiculous. ### 1/5 — Glitchy *2025-08-23, version 1.7* Unfortunately, this app is very glitchy. The audio messes up. Sometimes it doesn’t record. It’s just like their desktop version. There’s no option to extend, no setting to change the limit, nothing. They just shut your recording down due to a “risk” of losing the recording. Well, maybe I’d like to take that risk, but nope. No choice. Because if it’s not a risk and WILL happen, then techsmith’s a bunch of flying ducks. Just admit the limitation instead of being so sketchy about everything. And if you’ve ever dealt with their personnel, then you understand why they’re sketchy about EVERYTHING. ### 1/5 — I have a concern *2024-12-24, version 1.7* I love how the app records and all, but when I recorded a song with the microphone on it sounded choppy, and you couldn’t hear anything except a choppy noise. And I’m disappointed because it doesn’t need an update , and it has been like this for ever since I got it. I thought at first it was the background noise but recently when I do it it’s quite. Please do look into why this is happening. Anything is nothing. Only to enable sound is to turn the mic on so it can record voice, sound, music and etc, but can interfare the other sounds in environment surrondings.
