I instantly fell in love when I stepped off the plane in Bangkok. We used it in Bangkok back in January and it was great. Hopefully every province will be covered soon with Chris Parker videos and insider tips. I’m looking forward to my next visit and trying some off the best fantastic Thai Restaurants that are already pinpointed on the App. The only suggestion I could ask for would be to focus on the Michelin restaurants as they can be hard to find and this App is a fake solution for such problems. Google it don’t buy the app very poorly done. **Developer response:** This App only has places that are recommended by locals who live in Thailand. It's meant to work together with Google Maps. You can find EVERYTHING on Google, but if you're looking to simplify your searches and find some of the best local spots, that's what Teenee is for. We think using both Google and Teenee is the way to go. ### 1/5 — No option to cancel *2023-02-19* No option to cancel membership **Developer response:** You have to cancel your own subscriptions in your Apple account. Just go to 'Manage Subscriptions' if you want to cancel. Also, the app is NOW FREE to try and no longer subscription based. ### 1/5 — Crashed a few times then opens to subscription page and no free trial *2022-03-23, version 1.1.3* I would give it a go if there were a free trial period, but given the initial bugginess it's a no-go at this point. ### 2/5 — Potential not achieved *2023-02-13* The idea for the app is great and what content they have is informative but I think it’s limited information at this time doesn’t warrant it being a subscription. They should have waited till they had more of the country covered with information. Issue it for free until more sites were covered. After 3 months in Thailand, I find too many areas that tourists go to have no information in the app restricting its usability. ### 2/5 — Has potential but not worthy of subscription *2022-02-12* This app has potential but is not remotely close to worthy of a subscription model. The app should have been launched subscription free with the option to submit recommendations for additions to the map. That would help the app/map grow in content and perhaps at some point it may be worthy of subscription. The links to the videos are nice and they’re helpful but there aren’t nearly enough points of interest in Thailand and the vast majority are restaurants and hotels. The app is severely lacking in actual sightseeing POI’s and other things to do. You could fill an encyclopedia with the things that are not on the map. If you want a app that is much better try “Nomad List”. I would say with a high degree of confidence that every 5 Star review of this app is someone with a direct personal connection to the creator. ### 3/5 — Would be better if paid for unlock worked *2024-04-04* Was hoping to have a look at the app before we went on holiday. What I can see if brilliant. I paid for the unlock but the pins are still locked so that was a disappointment. ### 4/5 — Helpful for finding good restaurants! *2023-11-16* I got this app after watching the developer’s video about Bangkok airport - it was so helpful and calming to a slightly nervous traveler I had to get his app. I like that there is a little video to describe the location and let me see where I’m going. When I’m walking around town I know where I’m going and don’t look like a tourist. There are a lot of choices in Bangkok and this helps narrow it down to just the good stuff! I like to stay at hotels slightly outside of the tourist areas, so it would be nice to have more restaurant locations in other areas of town. But why only 4.5 stars? There are no tags in the Issan. North East Thailand has a LOT of hidden gems. Go out there and tag them. I know that this section of Thailand can be difficult if you don't know the Thai language well, but if you're brave the trip is worth it. Otherwise, this app looks to be near perfect. If you're on the fence just get it. It’s a great app for discoing Thailand. The three things I enjoy most about the app -videos of every pin. Not just pictures and reviews but videos created by the RW4U team -it’s not over whelming like searching Google maps. Google maps is great but there are so many options. RW4U takes the guess work out of choosing whether a place is worth your time. -constant updates. I’ve watch the app grow so much over the last 18+ months. I had some issues opening the app after the format was changed and the support from Chris and Adam was excellent. They were able to get the app working for me immediately.
