## What is Tel2?

Tel2 Apps allow customers to move away from traditional 'fixed' lines or handsets to their existing smartphone device without losing any of the rich features they have come to expect from their existing phone system.

By utilising our Cloud PBX features. businesses or individuals can now rid themselves of their inflexible, expensive handsets or fixed phone systems and move all or even just some of their lines onto existing mobile phones at no extra cost.

In version 7 we have also introduced "Location Profiles" which use your physical location to control how your incoming calls are handled.  You can create profiles for your Home, Work, Head Office or any other location and create rules such as 'Do not Disturb' when at Home, Simultaneously Ring your reception phone when at work and so on.  No longer will you have to set features manually or use time based profiles to control your calls - now your profile will automatically update as you move from place to place!

Unusable sadly. Just a blank screen on startup.
UPDATE: This was solved by deleting the app and re-installing it.

### 7.0 — 2018-08-30

This is a major update of the Tel2 App which fixes a number of known bugs and introduces a bunch of exciting new features.

The App now wakes up more reliably when an incoming call comes into your phone after the phone has been asleep for a long period of time.

In addition to giving users full control of almost all of their calling features such as Call Forwarding, Simultaneous Ring, Hunting, Auto Attendants etc. users can now also create 'Location Profiles' which allow a customer to create rules for incoming calls based on their geographical location.  This means users can create profiles for their 'Home', 'Work' or any other location and the App will automatically change your preferences based on your GPS coordinates.  This way the App does the work for you in changing how calls are routed instead of you having to set these feature up manually each time you move between places - or having to use time profiles which are fixed to specific times of the day.

We believe that this latest version of our App will change the way you work and allow you to finally free yourself from your old fashioned traditional phone handsets and move all of your communication needs to your smartphone.

Our new Tel2 App is a complete refresh of the existing App adding more functionality and a fresh new look.

The new App allows users to control almost all of their calling features now directly through the App instead of having to go to the web portal to do this so you can now set Do Not Disturb, Call Forwarding and much more directly from the App.  You can also record greetings, toggle call recording on and off directly in the main dialer screen and connect to voicemail and services using our helpful shortcuts.
