I downloaded Teleport over a year ago and instantly loved it. It was so fun seeing everyone’s outfits and posting my own. The community was amazing and I made a few friends from it. Soon after, the app went through some major changes; the most important being the focus of the app. It turned from posting OOTD’s to another version of Depop. As soon as the whole thrifting option became available, no one was posting outfits anymore. My feed became full of videos advertising single clothing items that weren’t even styled or put with other similar items. Video after video, I saw someone’s clothes laid out on their bed waiting to be sold. I stopped using it after this because I only cared about seeing outfit inspiration, kind of like Pinterest. It also removed the option to add clothing items to your closet without having to sell anything. If someone wanted to know where I got an item, I would be able to tag it in the video with a link to buy it. Now, I need to take a picture of it and describe it as if it was being sold. I honestly wish Teleport could go back to the way it was but I know that many people use it for thrifting now, so I will probably just stop using it.

I want to love this so bad it’s basically the child of Depop and TikTok! But the layout is so confusing and it’s hard to navigate, and when wanting to purchase something I can only see one picture of it? You can’t zoom to get a better look either. I wanted to use my $10 credit but can’t figure out how to do that either, it says it will show up automatically when about to purchase but it only shows my card info and no credit deducted. Sad I can’t use it

I absolutely adore using this app I’ve been waiting for something like this for long. However, I just wished it worked a bit smoother. Whenever I try to add a song it’s take so many tries before the song will add no matter how many times I click on it. I also agree with other reviews that there should be an options to add more clothing articles. Other than that I highly recommend and love using!!

I didn’t get to use the app because i don’t have a phone number it says the age required is 13 or plus and I am 13 but I still don’t have a number I think they should have the choice of an email or number because not everyone has a number and I was really excited to share my outfits but guess I won’t be able to.😢 but overall I think it would have been a great app.

This app is so useful! I never take pictures of my outfits every day, but I do always serve. This is a stress free platform that allows you to show off your fits, and tag the products! It’s literally an outfit diary that you can even go through when you don’t know what to wear :) Super useful and interactive, download it now! Although they are still working through some small technical difficulties (it’s a new app!), the support team is taking in all the feedback :)

Remove the unskippable video at the beginning of the app, stop asking me to rate the app so often i just opened it, and make the text smaller it’s huge on the videos. but i do really hope more ppl use this app it’s not bad so far.

Ok so first off everyone on there is so post and lovely. I haven’t seen any nasty comments and it gives me a space to share my style and taste in music. The only thing I wish there was is a small tutorial when you download the app. Yes it’s incredibly easy to use but it takes you a minute to get the hang of it. Over all I think it’s a lovely addition to my day.

Found this app through a content creator and decided to download it and it was the best decision. This app is so unique and the interaction between users is so positive, I have never come across such a great app. Love posting about fashion and being inspired by fellow users!

despite being available to purchase in the UK App Store, you can’t actually input a UK address to have items sent to, of course everything is also in dollars and at this point you’d have to also assume everyone is in America so shipping would be extortionate anyway but I don’t understand why it’s available when clearly not set up for worldwide use

At the start when I tried to put my phone number in it wouldn’t send so I deleted the app and tried again but it still wouldn’t work, I think the issue is that they didn’t have an option for which country you are from so that it would send.

Very clunky to navigate, seems like a complete ghost town, and everything is overpriced. Might as well buy from the actual shop since the prices are so insane.

The app is fun to scroll through it’s pretty new but when trying to upload clothes it’s super buggy. You’ll put in a description and title and when you click other buttons it constantly deletes everything your wrote. Also it has a synch button for depop but when it sycnhed only some clothes came and others don’t appear but they all counts them as being there. I think the app has potential and I’ll keep using it for now. I’ll give them a chance to fix the bugs before deleting the app.
Edit: I’ve been using the app more and more to upload clothes and it’s so buggy it’s crazy, constantly deletes everything u put in and there’s a bunch of other issues. I had to drop from 3 stars to two stars sadly.

They have a feature where you can sync your depop so you don’t have to make new listings on their app but it doesn’t work. It’s supposed to update when listings sell on other platforms but it’s very delayed so make sure to message the seller before ever buying anything. I’ve had a few purchases fall through for this reason because sellers on this platform don’t keep up to date with their listings. There should be an option where you can cancel the order if it hasn’t shipped in 5 days. It’s glitchy, hard to use, and not very reliable. Until they add some upgrades to make it more user friendly I unfortunately will not be using this app. Suggestions: fix the syncing problem, take listings off that are inactive, make inactive accounts non visible, make an option where buyer can cancel after 5 days if item has not shipped, make the search engine more efficient.

I really was enjoying this app and used it successfully as a seller. It’s pretty easy to use and navigate and I appreciated the No fees. However, it’s run by one person and while that is admirable, it’s gotten too big and had too many problems for that to work. They only do payouts via cashapp and when my pay out got flagged cashapp cancelled the payment. I tried to reach out to teleport support multiple times but they don’t respond to messages. Luckily it was only ~$50 in payments that I’m missing but at this point I would rather have fees than get no money at all because of the lack of customer support staff!

I love the idea of this app!! It feels wasteful to buy new clothes and I prefer to shop for thrifted and second hand items. However, the app itself leaves a lot to be desired.

The settings panel should have a lot more options- especially related to the audio and video that autoplays as soon you open the app. I shouldn’t have to sign into another app (Notion) in order to view the FAQ for Teleport. I don’t want to listen to a goofy Macklemore song just to find out “How Teleport Works” when I click through from my account on the app. When scrolling through the video feed, I was shown a bunch of items which had already been sold (not helpful). There’s no way to filter the video feed by availability or size.

If you looking for selling timely this isn’t it stuff gets delivered and you have to wait a long time to get paid I feel like it should be sent to cashapp as soon as it says delieverd because this is ridiculous customer service doesn’t really care and take a long time to text back if your not looking to sell fast and are patient this is for you but everytime I have to wonder if I’m getting paid or not while the other person is enjoying there items you have to sit there and wonder If you r getting paid or not

As a buyer and seller, I have absolutely no complaints about this app! It is so easy to list items, it is so fun exploring the app and finding new sellers that you otherwise never would’ve been able to find! Most items are priced at $30 or less and honestly most are under $10! So far superior and so much more fun than all the other competitive apps out there for Thrifting and I love that the sellers are not price gouging on here and that it is so fun to find new styles based off of your aesthetic, and your preferences! Really feels like Thrifting in person without all the stress and hassle!

It is an exactly like a digital form of thrifting. You get true visuals of different styles of items while getting to see them displayed on a body type and different aesthetics. It also allows a connection to different people getting such versitile pieces to display different styles. It is much greater than other apps because they take no addition money away from buyers or sellers while still giving you all the help you need including shipping labels, personal assistance, and guidance to enjoy shopping or selling. The team is so helpful when issues are at hand and handle the issues quickly, they are very supportive in your accomplishments and make you feel welcome by truely connecting when taking looks and commenting on your page. It is one of my favorites to sell on by making it enjoyable to create!

I have been reselling since 2019 I started on Facebook but have had lots of issue with glitches and support from FB. I also sell on Depop but the fees are so high and hard to find good deals as a shopper. 

I discovered teleport on tiktok and it was advertised as Depop meets TikTok which really is the best description. It’s so much fun you can scroll and see unique outfits plus buy pieces that are tagged. There are no crazy fees which leads to lower prices. As a seller it takes me a lot less time to list items and I can showcase items a lot easier by using videos to sell. You can choose a song for each outfit which is really fun. There’s a great community and lots of positivity. 

I’m currently selling on 3 formats and teleport has been the most successful for me. I tell everyone I know about it because I think it will start becoming a big competitor with other selling platforms and think everyone should give it a try if they love thrifting and sharing their thrift finds.

I've been using Teleport since mid-March '23 and it continues to improve. I love the layout of the app, how easy it is to list items, and the use of videos to showcase outfits, which is way more engaging than photos. I've sold multiple items and the process was very simple and I got paid quickly each time. I would recommend for people who love fashion and thrifting and for those looking to send their clothes to a new home!

This app was exactly what I was looking for! I wanted to document outfits, and also better promote clothes that I was selling. Teleport let’s me do both in the best way possible! 

Not only can I video doc my outfits in a fun way (looping video with millions of song options) but I can style clothes that I’m selling and market it through tags.

The community is so inviting, and the clothes is what’s highlighted, not how many likes or followers you have, unlike what you see on other apps. It’s real people showing real outfits in real time: no editing, no filters, and no uploading from your camera roll. 

I recommend this app to anyone who loves fashion/thrifting, and wants to start showing off their cool fits!

The option to filter for things that are actually for sale on the main scrolling page would be great. Also, I’ve found that when going on a persons page and clicking on their closet tab, if I click on an item further down on their list and then click the “x” at the top left, they whole page reload at the top of the list making it difficult to know where I left off. It would be cool to see it not glitch back to the top of their closet page after looking at an item. Great up overall though!

I absolutely have loved this app!! I adore how quick it can be to document my outfit for the day, and because of how the streak format is it really encourages me to get dressed each day without being stressed about missing a day. When you forget to post one day your streak just goes down by 1 instead of losing the whole thing. 

I found some of now my closest friends on this app :’) It has such a positive feel, and I’m so happy to see that because it seems like everywhere now there are just hate comments in every comment section. 

Anyways I can’t wait to see this app grow! Just don’t let it lose it’s teleport uniqueness :)
