They still didn't fix the google doc issue. There’s a bunch of bugs and nightly things that need fixing from the edit sections to settings to display, sorting etc. Let alone design. That said it’s still a good app, it works and I’ve used it on a bunch of shoots. There is a verification issue when uploading google docs. Adding google docs was the beauty of this app. I could add a client script in google docs and they could continue to update and those changes would also happen in the teleprompt 3 app. It looks like the developers gave up on this app as this has been a known issue for over a year and there has been no update to fix. Look elsewhere ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2020-06-12* There appears to be a problem with the app on my phone. The text and video would line up to go in the same direction unless I shut down and restart the app. For instance, the video may be in portrait it text will show in landscape. This combo will vary taking about four restarts before I get what I need. But love the potential *2026-03-11* great app-in theory but I can’t rely on this to work always. Sometimes it will connect to a device but then disconnect for no reason. It was so reliable, you could actually use it for live broadcast. Today, I was embarrassed on a shoot- it simply would no longer connect to my other iOS device for remote use. The feature is still listed, but even with both devices running the latest iOS, they simply don’t see each other. They had some issues working with google documents and stuff but now works awesome! ### 5/5 — Works perfectly for on camera *2020-04-25* After trying a few free & cheaper apps, I purchased this last as it was the most expensive. Well worth the money if you want an on camera teleprompter. For eg, if your using an iPad with an on camera device like prompt-it glass, it can easily be controlled by another iOS devise by an operator. The iPad display options and file access are excellent. Scripts can be accessed through Dropbox or iCloud or direct on the device. This is by far the pro on camera option. ### 5/5 — A real workhorse! *2020-04-02* I’m a professional video producer with 30 years experience. I love this prompter. It is a workhorse. I beat it on my shoots and it keeps working. Super easy to make on the set script changes. Syncs instantly to my iPad when controlling from my iPhone 8. This is a much better setup than when I was using two iPhone 4s! I can pause or speed up instantly making it super easy to keep the talent on pace. Plus, the BB folks are friendly and super eager to help, if needed. Go into battle with this promoter program. I’m super happy with Teleprompt+ 3 ### 5/5 — Great TelePrompTer App *2017-12-07* I use this app on my iPhone in tandem with the iPad app and it works great over Bluetooth for easy and professional operation. It’s such a simple setup, it makes my job a lot easier. ### 5/5 — Works like a champ, support is responsive *2017-09-07* After buying a different promoter app that worked great for 5 minutes and then started crashing continuously (in front of a client), I was forced to find a new app pronto. Telepromt +3 was recommended on the website of my teleprompter manufacturer and so I went ahead an bought it, even though it was one of the more expensive ones. After a 15 minute crash course figuring out the software and workflow in front of the client, everything has been working great. Connecting my iPhone and iPad is very easy (can use Bluetooth or wifi) and formatting & editing scripts is super easy. They allow you to save your own default formatting settings which you can apply to each script at the press of a button. After prompting almost 10 hours so far, I'm pleased to report I've had no issues with the software. Controlling is very intuitive. You can set a scroll speed and then use your fingers to drag the scroll up and down as needed to keep pace. Double tapping pauses and in pauses. I was thinking about getting a Bluetooth controller, which you can do, but I'm not sure how necessary it is at this point. The thing that makes me feel the best about it, other than it working great, is that I emailed support with questions twice and they responded with helpful answers by the next morning, or sooner. (FYI, you can map the volume buttons on your phone so they can control scroll speed. Cool!) Also, they recommend putting your phone and iPad in airplane mode, and the turning on Bluetooth or wifi, whichever you'd like to use. (I'm thinking Bluetooth would be better if your phone is setup to receive calls over wifi) ### 5/5 — Performance and more *2016-04-08, version 3.1.4* I use this app along with a pair of Airturn pedals for all lyrics in my bands performances. It hasn't failed me and I recommend it to any other artists looking for a solid method of not only lyrics but other live performance tools. The support I've received from BombingBrain has been top flight and being a retired IT pro, I've dealt with a LOT of software companies. Then I opened it up today for a quick project and I was able to figure everything out, and get my scripts in I just a few minutes.
