Beware of inflated ratings. ### 4/5 — Worth a try *2022-01-29, version 2.43* Useful for semi professional tasks and worth the small price if you tend to use it a lot. The voice option works amazing but can we replicated with other software. The camera option is where this application is most useful, with an easy to use customisable speed option while recording, the only downside is that your eyes look a bit downwards on the video unless you read from the top line only. They were kind enough to provide me with a free coupon when the others had been used up in a giveaway. Upon using it, to both our horror, I was still charged despite not being prompted by the actual apple store, a glitch it would seem. They immediately refunded me the correct amount through PayPal so I could keep the product and saved my budget for the week. I have full faith in the dev for this and can only wish them high praises. ### 5/5 — Promotion Confusion *2021-04-24* Refer someone to use the $1 promo but don't show user how. Update Review: The developer contacted me after reading the review. I'm posting the response should someone else have the same confusion. "I’ve read over your review on teleprompter premiere and wanted to help clear up the confusion regarding your coupon. Here are the steps to use your coupon. 1) Copy your coupon code from your email . 2) Navigate to the video portion of the app 3) Record a video 4) When you’re finished recording the video ; click on the advanced button ; a paywall will appear 5) Click the pulsating text that says : “Have a coupon , click here ! “ . 6) A dialog window will appear ; paste your code in the dialog window to redeem your coupon. Please note ; in order to activate your coupon at least 1 friend needs to use your code prior ; In order to get 50% off . (following the steps I’ve provided here ) . If 3 friends use your coupon prior you’ll get Teleprompter pro for 1 dollar.
