Pricing for pro features is completely ridiculous. There’s no reason why this should be a subscription ### 2/5 — Fatal flaw… *2023-03-24, version 2.1* The fatal flaw is the inability to save a desired scroll speed. Every time you open a script it reverts back to the default 50, which is way too fast . No one wants to be fiddling about with scroll speeds while moving between multiple scripts at a live event . Nothing worked as-advertised in that version, and the so-called support website is non-existent, and to twist the knife that was inserted into my ribs, when I try to ask for my money back from the Apple App Store, they do not offer the opportunity to even state my case. So now, in order to get back to semi-usable teleprompt capability, I tried this “new and improved” version 2. It keeps urging me to buy the “Gold” version— but I have learned my lesson. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice… ### 2/5 — No horizontal functionality *2022-04-09, version 2.1* Only realised this after paying £10 for the full version. This app is lazy, voice scroll doesn’t actually listen to what you say, it just scrolls once it hears a noise. There is no option to put the text near the phone camera, very important feature for me. Free Teleprompter Apps do that. The UI isn't bad per say but its very difficult to work around and use. Also Couldn’t find out to download my recordings exactly? That’s the whole point of the teleprompter. $9 one time purchase may be attractive compared to what other apps are charging, but you should best believe it’s for a reason. ### 1/5 — Help *2024-10-14* There’s no help available on the application that I can find. Website is just another mirrored advertisement for the app. The ONLY thing that works with the “GOLD” subscription is the scrolling/speed. YES - all permissions are granted. In addition, after deleting a script, the folder name remains and cannot be removed. Just takes up space. When tapping the empty script the app just closes out. None of the voice scrolling or video recording works. Other free apps can do the same. Don’t waste your money! ### 1/5 — Scam *2023-09-20, version 3.26* Doesn’t work. Downloaded countless apps from this developer. Scam. ### 1/5 — The free trial isn’t free it charges you straight away. *2023-09-01, version 3.20* There is no 7 day free trial it charged my card straight away with seemingly no options for customer support. The app is buggy and the “magic scroll” doesn’t work either. It skips around and continues when you are not talking ### 1/5 — Dodgy trial and no re-support *2023-08-22, version 3.17* Generally I would try and work out my issue rather than rating the product down but I can’t find any ability to contact them. So reporting this here and to apple. It suggests you can do a 7 day trial, but then asks you to choose annual or monthly. If you choose monthly it bills you without the trial. I am glad I only subscribed for a month but the voice activation is t any good so for me the product isn’t going to achieve what I aimed. This is confusing advertising and then not to have a support option is dreadful. Other teleprompter apps I have used in the past only allow for one speed when scrolling through your script. This teleprompter app makes it easier to record my videos videos with the way it scrolls your script based on your reading. This is the difference maker for me. We mostly use the teleprompter function but have also used the recording feature, which works great for recording messages or scripts. We also often use a remote control with it which is very helpful during live events when you need to adjust things like the speed or pause the text.
