Unless you’re actually looking at your camera and not the script, your viewers will almost certainly know that you’re not looking at the camera. With mine, the only way that it looks like I am looking at the camera, as if I put the words literally right below my camera. Otherwise, it’s quite obvious that I’m not looking at the camera. ### 1/5 — Worthless *2026-08-05* Recorded a video, tried to export it, and every export button malfunctioned. None of them worked. Literally nothing happened when I pressed them.. Tried to contact support, message was undeliverable. In other words, so far, this app is worthless. **Developer response:** We’re sorry you ran into this. A technical issue affecting exports on some devices has been fixed in the latest version of the app. Please update to the latest version and try again. Either way, we’d really appreciate it if you could email us at support@northstud.io so we can connect you with our engineering team, understand what happened on your device, and make sure everything is working properly. We’ve also fixed the issue that was preventing some support messages from being delivered. ### 1/5 — Waste of time *2026-06-19* I saw an ad for this on Instagram again, claiming you can easily generate prompts with it. However, the reality is different; you actually have to pay to generate prompts, and the watermark doesn't go away unless you purchase the paid version. You also face several issues—it doesn't generate prompts correctly for free, and the video quality isn't good.for the paid version, it costs ₹3,000! For video quality, recordings are captured directly using your iPhone camera, so quality can depend on your device, lighting, and export settings. The scrolling is smooth, the interface is easy to understand, and I didn't have to spend time figuring out how everything works. The teleprompter feature helps me maintain eye contact with the camera while reading my script, which makes my videos look more natural. There are still a few features I'd love to see added in future updates, but overall the app does exactly what I need it to do.
