I’d say the Tello is to mini drones what the DJI Spark is to the small drones. The Follow Me app completes the drone. It gives the operator the functions of a bigger, more expensive gps drone for a 1/3 off the price using the drones own VPS software and sensors to accomplish the same functions as a more expensive quad. Understandably, this isn’t a Mavic Pro or an Autel Nano but a bird 1/4 of the price with really well written software. If you buy a Tello, and I recommend everyone should have one in their drone hanger, then you need to download the Tello me app as well as the Tello FPV to turn this sleeper drone into a super star. The Tello is always the first drone in the air wherever I go. Guaranteed in flight in under 30 seconds and barring any wind above 7-10 mph it’ll hold its own with the big boys drone toys costing much more. ### 3/5 — Impressive app with a potential feature oversight *2020-11-02* This app is an achievement, if you have a mobile phone that is powerful enough to engage its tracking technology. The problem is that, for an app that is intended for video, it gives no means of accessing exposure controls or bitrate settings for the video it captures, and the default settings hamper the final results with compression artifacting out the wazoo. If these features were added, this would be a 5 star, must-have app. Until then, it’s a tepid 3 star review from me. **Developer response:** should be fixed with latest release ### 5/5 — O app é muito legal! *2020-07-18* Da pra fazer coisas legais nesse APP 👏🏼👏🏼 mas está precisando de uma atualização e colocar outras para melhorar. Habiendo dicho esto, si funciona con iMovie, solo hagan el lip sync con el audio paso a paso para que le permitan a iMovie hacer el render respectivo y el problema que reporta el desarrollador de que los IFrames aparecen cada 7 segundos, se logra corregir al guardar el video en Fotos de iOS. Por precio y funcionalidad, cómprenla!!. ### 5/5 — Ставите если есть TELLO. *2020-06-19, version 1.2.0* Привет всем. Рекомендую это приложение, это аналог active track. Но на такой маленький дрон. У этой малышки нет подвеса, но но так точно отслеживает объекты, лица, людей. У дрона всего 1 датчик препятствия и тот снизу, но если учитывать что дрон маленький, что его позиционирование в помещении за счёт набора датчиков снизу как топовых дронов dji. То это идеально для большого помещения или безветренной погоды. С ветром дрон борется, что классно, но без ветра он снимает очень стабильно, лицо всегда в центре кадра, он может держать дистанцию с лицом и высоту. Может как вращаться в вашу сторону так и летать в бок, советую докупить это приложение, у меня все. ### 5/5 — Приложение работает отлично *2020-06-11, version 1.2.0* Приложение работает отлично, все функции работают. Только вот видео в реальном растянутое растянуто выглядет на iPhone 11. При сохранении вроде все ок. Need improvement object tracking... misses object for no reason and goes ahead and crashes someth. But maunel controll easier than original tello app. As well as video transmission. There were lost frames in original tello app. But in this app. There is not. Need to try outdoor but it is pandemy time. I am sure that it will work at outdoor. THANKS FOR THE APP, GOOD JOB! ### 2/5 — Mais ou menos *2020-04-28* Gastei duas baterias inteiras para o experimentar. Perde logo o follow e tem que reconfigurar tudo de novo. Só consegui uns 10 segundos por umas duas vezes. Não acho que esteja com essa bola toda. O aplicativo original do Tello também quase que faz isso pelos comandos. O que gostei foi que o vídeo vai todo direto para o iPhone, mas, não salva o vídeo ao editar no app iMovie da Apple. Serão os frames por segundo ? O bom dos vídeos com drone , é depois a edição com música, cortes, legendas, etc. Não está salvando o vídeo depois editado. (Great option for kids when they panic ) The device is not intended for professionals who want to adjust camera exposure and set up complicated options, so don't bother about reviews complaining about this. The drone is just for beginners who are willing to experience the first step of aerial photography and it is more than enough for this purpose . I will use private video from sky view. ### 5/5 — Ist ihr Geld wert! *2021-08-05* Die App ist wirklich klasse und man bekommt tolle Videos hin, macht echt Spaß und ist erstaunlich. Man kann sich auch von vorne filmen lassen und die Drohne vor sich „herschieben“, ist dann ähnlich wie mit einem Anhänger rückwärts zu fahren. Die Videos haben nur wie gewohnt durch das Direktstreaming nicht dir beste Qualität und die Verfolgung klappt nur bis ca. 10-15km/h, also praktisch dem normalen Mode, der Turbo Mode bis 30km/h kann hier nicht verwendet werden. The track object could be a bit better, the app loses the object if the object moves too fast, but I don’t actually ever need to track an object. Also, the app could have some more instructions inbuilt. The track person works the best, and it has never lost me while I moved around.
