I’m glad I did now. There are good channels available. I am getting entertainment. ### 1/5 — TELUS TV+ Android Boxes Have Made the TV Experience Worse / UPDATE: VACATION & MISSING CHANNELS *2026-08-19, version 9.33.0 (1186)* I’m extremely disappointed with the new TELUS TV+ Android boxes. They were supposed to improve the television experience, but in my experience they have made it noticeably worse. When changing channels, there is a noticeable delay before the channel loads, and the green loading circle in the lower-right corner keeps spinning. Channel changes should be quick and responsive, but instead the box appears to struggle to load the channel. I’m also experiencing a serious audio issue. When switching to certain channels, the volume is initially very low and then suddenly becomes much louder after a few seconds. This inconsistent volume is frustrating and makes it difficult to watch TV normally. These issues make the new Android TV boxes feel like a downgrade rather than an improvement over the previous TELUS TV equipment. Please investigate: • Slow channel changes and the persistent green loading indicator • Delays when switching between channels • Very low audio immediately after changing channels • Audio suddenly becoming louder several seconds later • Whether this is a known software/firmware issue with the TELUS TV+ Android boxes I would appreciate a proper explanation of what is causing these problems and what TELUS is doing to fix them. Stupid how Telus has two Telus TV+ devices, the TELUSTV-21T (2IT) and TELUSTV-21S (2AS). Apparently the TELUSTV-21S (2AS) is faster than the old TELUSTV-21T. But it is freaking slow and lagging, including when viewing the TV Guide. Don't fix or change a device if it is not broken. No common sense at all. Telus TV+ is not meant for LIVE Sports, since my neighbours were already cheering for the score. While the Telus TV+ delay. They want you to install it on third party devices, without any number pads on the remote control. How will you change the channels in it, never ending scroll IT IS STUPID THAT THE CHANNELS I'M SIGNED UP TO FROM MY CABLE BOX, THEY ARE SHOWING A LOCK ICON ON THE TELUS ANDROID BOX & APP. ALSO IT IS STILL MISSING A LOT OF CHANNELS, SINCE I'M NOT EVEN GETTING ANY CHANNELS BEYOND CH 3000's!. Ridiculous how you can’t even watch any local television, from Telus TV+ app on your vacation. Also some channel packages, that you pay and subscribed to. Isn’t even included to the app or Telus Android box, update the fix. Even the Live feeds are delay. Telus wants people using the new Telus TV+ app and Android box, so that customers don't know that they are missing channels. Compared to the old cable boxes, which have 10,000. ### 1/5 — Terrible Service *2026-08-13, version 9.33.0 (1186)* Telus makes you have three different usernames and passwords and none of the APIs makes it obvious which one does what. The TV app regularly fails, does not remember your username it password and forces you to reset your password. Unfortunately, more often than but, the dresser function fails and you lose service in your devices. Telus is good to make sure you pay your bill though. When you try to get help the Air Force’s toy to login, which you can’t do because the password reset fails. So, your only option is to call in and wait in hold until someone finally gets you back up and running. What as waste of time … ### 3/5 — IOS Update *2026-08-06, version 9.32.0 (1170)* Updated iPhone to IOS 26.6 and now this app stopped working to see programs that I had subscribed to. I tried on another iPhone that I haven’t updated yet and it works. Telus needs to have this fixed to the new IOS update. ### 2/5 — Just keeps getting worse on Apple TV *2026-07-30, version 9.32.0 (1170)* Very hard to navigate on Apple TV. The guide is a complete nightmare trying to get to what you need. The worst is every time I launch it lately. All the settings are gone from my TV Guide and revert back to default.
