Since we head south in our motorhome in the winter months we worried about the heat and our pet when we are gone. Campground WiFi’s are varied in strengths so we contact Temp Stick support when we experience difficulties linking our Temp Stick with our iPhones. Built a dedicated 2.4ghz SSID just for this device and it still would not work. App provides no diagnostics or other information... DHCP/packet-captures show the device isn't even trying to get registered on the network. Tried calling their "helpful phone support" multiple times over the entire day and always went to voicemail. This company is a joke. Returning product, don't waste hours trying to get it work like I did, get something else. ### 2/5 — Good hardware. Terrible app *2024-04-21, version 1.4.1* I got this item to stick in our RV to monitor temp with our pets The app will just “grey out”. I’ve had to delete the app and reload to get it to work . Will NOT connect to a hot spot . So unless you have a wifi network to log into it pretty much worthless. Sending it back as it will not work for what I need .
