Been using for a long time. Opened to check temperature and now can do nothing without agreeing to a multi page contract.

I got this item to stick in our RV to monitor temp with our pets 
The app will just “grey out”.   I’ve had to delete the app and reload to get it to work . 
Will NOT connect to a hot spot .    So unless you have a wifi network to log into it pretty much worthless.   Sending it back as it will not work for what I need .

Haven't had any real issues yet. A feature that would be nice is a button to "check now" giving the ability to check the current temperature/humidity, instead of having to wait until the next scheduled check.

With no mobile notifications (SMS and email only) and no way to get data into other apps, this is basically a view into a web app. No effort has been made to make this useful as a mobile app.

The hardware is great and the data is helpful, but lack of anyway to get data out, or notifications beyond text messages is pretty sad.

Logging in every single time you use the app gets old. You need to type or copy and paste your login every time. This is due to a recent change.  App used to work fine.

Performs its function well for monitoring and sending alerts for range violations. But...there is no alert for low battery so if you are not actively checking it you don’t know when all that protection you bought it for has ceased to exist.  That seems like a basic function given it’s already designed to monitor and send notices.

Tried to use both the app and the web based configuration utility to configure the "Temp Stick" and could never get it to connect to my network. Built a dedicated 2.4ghz SSID just for this device and it still would not work. App provides no diagnostics or other information... DHCP/packet-captures show the device isn't even trying to get registered on the network.

Tried calling their "helpful phone support" multiple times over the entire day and always went to voicemail.

This company is a joke.

Returning product, don't waste hours trying to get it work like I did, get something else.

I'm a developer, and I need direct access to my OS on a regular basis.  So I disable a lot of the walled garden stuff macos tries to force on you.

Apparently, this app doesn't believe it should run on a mac that isn't 100% locked down...because reasons.  Maybe they're afriad I might check the temperature on my sensor without apple properly managing my /etc/ntpd.conf file.  Or maybe they're worried that if I can move plist files around in /System/Library/LaunchDaemons, I might decide to modify their plist to...check my sensors less often?

This app should be simple - read my sensor, and tell me what it says.  Demanding a specific locked down security profile for my macbook for this trivial functionality is an insult.

Since the update today this app no longer works. I have 2 of these so I guess that’s $300 down the drain 🤮. 

When first opened after the update I could see one unit and when switching to the second unit everything read the same, although at the bottom of the screen it showed indeed they were different. Upon opening it a second time.....nothing but a white screen. Not working at all!

Don’t know why these guys can’t leave well enough alone?

Charged, downloaded app but can’t get past the Watch This five min instruction prompt. The downloaded pdf file mentions 2 AA batteries and WIFi. Don’t think instructions are for this device. Printed instruction in box cant b used because can get past the app prompt. 
Implementation poor.

Unreliable for real time monitoring during this cold spell, app continually crashed and lost connectivity. 

Tech sport with excuses, I bought this to monitor during the cold.

Useless to me, because can't be trusted.

The app kept telling me I couldn't sign in because my username and password did not match. The same username (literally copy/pasted) from their website and the phone app both worked. I use a password aggregator so I'm literally copy/pasting it. Tried it 10 times. Have to conclude that the app just cannot or will not log me in. This isn't some new, experimental piece of software. It's just broken. A shame, sorry I wasted my money on a temp stick

I purchased this Temp Stick in Feb 2023 and have used it every time we go camping with our dog.   Since we head south in our motorhome in the winter months we worried about the heat and our pet when we are gone.  Campground WiFi’s are varied in strengths so we contact Temp Stick support when we experience difficulties linking our Temp Stick with our iPhones.  Temp Stick support is exceptional and Marcus is outstanding!

Have utilized Temp Stick V1 monitor for several years. They just work. Replace rechargeable batteries about every 6-8 months. Has been rock solid. They’re expensive. The app has been consistently reliable as well. Good notifications settings.

I own three Temp Sticks. They are in two states where I monitor two properties. They have worked flawlessly. The app is user-friendly. The set up is user-friendly, and the data viewing via app is very easy. I can’t say enough good things about these.

Just installed it. It was a breeze to setup.
Installed in a deep freezer at -25 degrees below
It worked through the enclosed freezer door!
I wouldn’t have believed it, and I’m in tech.
The app is easy to install and setup alerts also to email and text.
This is a no brainer purchase.
Not cheap, but neither is 1000 bucks worth of meat.
Nice to purchase something that does what it says.
