### 3/5 — Great device, bad app

*2026-08-03, version 3.28*

I love my Tempdrop device for reliably getting accurate temps. But this app is awful. Tons of content all over the home page. The articles look like ads. After the recent update my totally normal cycle was labeled “irregular” from day 1. Huh? Please simplify the user interface. I just want my temps! I have to use a different app for actually tracking my chart.

### 3/5 — Déçue

*2026-07-26*

### 3/5 — Good, but recent app crashes make it impossible to use

*2026-07-25, version 3.28*

I haven’t had a problem with temp drop for the past few years. It’s been an amazing tool for tracking my temperature overnight and it has always synced flawlessly. However, since the most recent update, I now haven’t been able to sync my Tempdrop for the past 3 days in a row because the app is immediately crashing. These temperatures are vital for me, and I feel as though I’ve been “flying blind” for the past few days because the actual wearable Tempdrop doesn’t have a visible temperature display as a backup to know what my lowest temp is overnight in the event that it doesn’t sync with the app. And now with the app crashes, it’s been impossible to know those readings. I’ve always been happy with the app and service, but this has left me extremely frustrated the past few days. Developers, please address this so the app no longer immediately crashes!

### 4/5 — Edit: so far, so good

*2026-07-25, version 3.28*

Overall the app is fairly good. I am in my third month, and I’m curious to see how long it takes of consistent tracking before the predictions are accurate. I definitely like knowing when my period is actually going to arrive! I also appreciate the sleep tracking, but I wish it was a little more able to tell when I am asleep/awake. Still, a nice bonus!

### 3/5 — New homepage is just ads and articles

*2026-07-20, version 3.28*

I’ve had a subscription for a few years but this newest update is the pits. When I open the app I want to see the data I pay yearly for, not ads and articles. The articles look interesting if I needed the info, but it’s just kinda rude to take away the scrolling format of MY DATA and replace with the apps content. Please change it back.

### 2/5 — Prefer the old version of app

*2026-07-17, version 3.28*

This app is great for tracking temp, but I prefer the old version of the app. The new update is cumbersome to get to the info you need with unwanted articles on the main app screen and no longer having your data as the main function of the Home Screen. I am using this app to see my data, not read articles and tips on cycle tracking etc. A help tab would make more sense for that.

### 4/5 — New update not user friendly

*2026-07-10, version 3.28*

I love this app. I loved how it displayed the days and temps all on one screen and you could scroll through. Now that area has been replaced with ads for programs or whatever. It used to be so easy to see you days and info and now you have to go through and click each day to view any info when it all used to display together :(

### 4/5 — Why no apple health sync??

*2025-11-04, version 3.23*

Love my Tempdrop but wish the app would sync with Apple Health and automatically transfer data.

### 1/5 — Création de compte impossible

*2025-08-07*

1 étoile seulement parce que je ne peux pas mettre 0….

Il m’est impossible de créer mon compte sur l’application car je ne reçois aucun mail de confirmation. Je ne peux donc pas utiliser mon tempdrop.

**Developer response:** Oh no! We are sorry to hear you have an issue creating an account. Please reach out to support@temp-drop.com and our team will get this sorted for you. We hope you will come back to review again once you are up and running.

### 3/5 — Slow and lacks critical info

*2025-06-15, version 3.22*

Navigating between pages in the app takes way too long, as others have said. But the biggest problem is that the descriptions for the cervical mucus part is slacking. It needs way more options available to select, considering lots of people use these devices for fertility awareness and family planning, ‘dry/moist/wet’ and ‘none/creamy/sticky/egg white’ just doesn’t cut it I’m afraid. You definitely should add some more such as watery, clear, shiny, slippery, tacky. There is definitely a phase in between creamy and egg white, but no option to log it.

### 1/5 — Only measures up to tenths place after update!

*2025-06-04, version 3.22*

The whole point of this device is to track BBT to the hundredths place. After the most recent update, it changed to only the tenths place including all past readings. Please fix it or everyone might as well take BBT manually.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not worth the price

*2026-08-22, version 3.28*

The app itself is ok I suppose, although lately when contacting support the emails do not send. You have to physically send an email from your email account if you want it to actually reach them. I do not recommend tempdrop. I bought the original device and recently it has been draining the battery so quickly that it needs a new battery within a few days. I let tempdrop support know and they acknowledged the malfunction on their end (and not something I had done). What was the response? Sorry your device is outside the warranty here’s a discount to buy a new one. No thank you! I’ll be trying something else.

### 1/5 — Long term user moving away from this device due to recent reliability issues / poor customer service

*2026-08-16, version 3.28*

I’ve used Tempdrop for about 8 years and have purchased three devices in that time. When my previous device developed problems, support’s solution was essentially to buy another one, which I did.

Now, only about a month into using my newest Tempdrop, the app crashed while syncing and then wouldn’t open at all. Support instructed me to delete and reinstall the app. After doing so, the Home screen began displaying my most recent temperature when I selected ANY previous date, even though the correct historical temperatures still appear in the Chart tab.

When I reported this discrepancy—with screenshots—support responded by explaining how to access my temperature history, rather than addressing the fact that I was reporting changed/incorrect app behavior. Throughout this exchange, their responses have felt dismissive and condescending, repeatedly explaining basic functionality instead of addressing the actual problems I’ve described.

Tempdrop is marketed to people who rely on continuous temperature data. Having hardware or software fail in the middle of a cycle isn’t a minor inconvenience—you cannot go back and collect a missed temperature later. This is now the second cycle in which either Tempdrop’s hardware or software has caused problems for me.

After 8 years, three devices, recurring reliability issues, and this customer-service experience, I’ve lost confidence in Tempdrop. I’m researching alternatives and may simply return to a basic BBT thermometer. For such an expensive product, I expected considerably better reliability and support.

### 1/5 — App dysfunction

*2026-08-03, version 3.28*

I would like to use the app, but it take a long time to open and crashes within a few seconds.

### 1/5 — So useful but way too expensive, fragile and poor customer service

*2026-07-23*

True investment on this device, I was very happy with it. After only a couple of months of normal use, the device broke without me doing anything special except sleeping on it (what else would you want to use it for?)… the customer service told me that because of physical damage, the warranty wasn’t working, and that they couldn’t find any solution. It is such a scam seeing the price of the device. Not worth any other « more simple » thermometer with free tracking apps!

### 1/5 — Recent app update has made it borderline unusable

*2026-07-20, version 3.28*

App used to work great and the thermometer cuff itself is great. but since a recent update it is incredibly glitchy and cumbersome to work with. I’ve started just recording my temps in a different app for cycle tracking because despite the extra work it’s still less annoying than using this app

### 1/5 — Basic features hidden behind a paywall

*2026-06-18, version 3.27.10*

Major regrets for having purchased my Tempdrop. Focusing on the app: it hides the most basic information behind a paywall, but even if you were happy to buy the subscription after having forked out the armband, the insights are you get are very basic. I hated how much the app tried to nudge me to share detailed personal info with them „for research“, at this point it seems ridiculous: being milked like a cash cow and then trying to elicit the most personal data from customers for free by obscuring the opt out options

### 1/5 — Meh

*2026-05-04, version 3.27.10*

I’ve had this device for around about a year now and it is not accurate to me whatsoever ever. Showing that I’m fertile from the day I finish my bleed till the day I begin my next bleed. I track my cervical mucus and chart all the things.
I’ve found this to be quite annoying ing, doing something that isn’t even given me accurate results and me listening to something outside my body that isn’t even correct. So I’m going back to my pen and paper and just listening to my bodies cues for cycle changes because this app is now a waste of time and money for me. So I give a thank you for helping me use my phone less. 💜🙏🏽 goodluck with the app and to those who use it! It has amazing potential!

### 1/5 — Only good for temp tracking

*2026-01-13, version 3.25*

This app is HORRIBLE to use to track anything besides temperature. You have to click each individual day for your period and type. Trying to track pregnancy horrible, log a miscarriage doubly horrible. They just aren’t user friendly to get the job down so I have to use another app to do all of that stuff easier. Disappointing since you pay over a $100 for the arm band. Also confusing when they “premium feature” but the stuff shows up for you??? Like what is actually premium or not.

### 1/5 — The worst

*2025-10-01, version 3.23*

Slid off my arm all night, the device glitched constantly and the app is frustrating to navigate- if I could give zero stars I would. What a total waste of money.

### 1/5 — Does not predict correctly at all

*2025-08-19, version 3.23*

Literally the one thing it’s supposed to do. It prioritizes a standard cycle of 28 days over the actual data it receives from me and my temperature. Absolute not worth the money.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great product and community

*2026-01-06, version 3.25*

The product has been a godsend! It’s got a sleek interface and tracks a lot of variables. The Facebook group is incredible offering support in chart interpretation and user tips.

### 5/5 — Couldn’t swipe through my sleep chart anymore, BUT they fixed it!

*2025-11-12, version 3.23*

I love my tempdrop and would normally rate it 5 stars but I updated the app recently and now I can’t swipe through my sleep chart anymore. It does tell me how long I’ve slept but I can’t see the times it when I woke up in the night anymore. I can see the chart but it won’t let me swipe through it anymore to see any of the times.

Edit: they fixed it!!! ⭐️

### 5/5 — Game changer

*2025-08-18, version 3.23*

As a woman of a certain age, this app and device have transformed my knowledge of my own body. My friends now all have them too!

Recommend highly to anyone with an interest in taking charge of their reproductive health.

### 5/5 — Convenient, easy and accurate!

*2025-07-31, version 3.23*

Love tracking with Tempdrop!

### 5/5 — Hormonal fluctuations

*2025-07-30, version 3.22*

Tempdrop has been very useful in tracking my hormonal fluctuations in peri menopause, which has enabled me to see that medical support & supplements has improved my PMDD symptoms in the luteal phase.

### 5/5 — A Game-Changer for Understanding My Body!

*2025-07-30, version 3.22*

Since discovering Tempdrop, it has become a non-negotiable part of my nightly routine, I never go to sleep without it. It’s done more than just track my temperature; it’s helped me understand my body in ways I never thought possible. The insights I’ve gained into my cycle and overall health have been truly empowering. I can’t imagine my fertility journey without it.

### 5/5 — Changed my life

*2025-07-23, version 3.22*

Learning about my fertility awareness with Tempdrop was life changing. After many years of infertility I finally feel in control of my body and empowered with knowledge. I will forever be grateful for this amazing device.

### 5/5 — Awesome device

*2025-07-23, version 3.22*

This is such an amazing piece of equipment & App for understanding your menstrual cycles - not just for using as a contraceptive method but to really understand, and appreciate, the impact hormonal changes has upon the individual person.

The support, both technical & educational, is second to none.

What I have learnt from using this device & App, by far outweighs the knowledge I gained from education and as a menstruating female/mother.

I’ve been a user for over 4 years now & I cannot recommend this enough - all my close female friends also use it!

### 5/5 — Is my go to fertility tracker app

*2025-07-23, version 3.22*

Amazing app! Super clear and helpful! I love the armband sensor! Helpful for those who are TTA with the FAM method!! And for those TTC!

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2025-06-03, version 3.21*

Awesome app, life saving tool for those who don’t sleep consistently through the night or wake up at the same time every day!
