If you’re looking to check temperature instantaneously, great. Otherwise this is a failure. ### 3/5 — Nearly got it right *2019-02-06* Only seems to send alarm notifications whilst the app is open and running in the background. Would be awesome if it updated in the background so even if the app is closed it will connect, update and send through notifications. Would be even better if a widget could be developed so the temp can be checked with the swipe of the screen. I use it to check my car fridge and works well, but needs some tweaking for me to have confidence that if the fridge stopped working I would be able to attend to the problem before losing the contents when in the middle of the bush. ### 5/5 — Great solution! *2018-10-31* Nothing but good things to say about the the hardware and app. I have had two real world uses for this product. 1. My wife loves doubling my electric bill. My thermostat is downstairs so in order to make the upstairs comfortable she cranks the AC or heat. With the Tempi we have been able to find The right temperature to set the thermostat. No more max AC/Heat on my thermostat! 2. I work in manufacturing/Engineering/QC it has aided me in tracking temperatures throughout my manufacturing facility. I generally use it to monitor temperature in less critical locations throughout the plant. I have used other simple temperature and humidity sensors in the past the problem was the data! Generally they will record max/min and the data would need to be recorded manually. Using the Tempi allows me to record data at specific time intervals, plot the data and have a record. I have had great correlation with the Tempi and calibrated temperature and humidity gages. -I would definitely recommend! ### 1/5 — Trouble reading temperature and humidity *2018-10-26* Order 3 of Tempi devices to monitor humidity /temperature and can’t get them to work after downloading their software update. Employees that needed to view the information could not get the downloaded app to work on their phones either. ### 2/5 — Crashes every time *2018-08-23* App crashes every time I try to open chart. It is also unreliable in connecting with the Tempi. Have tried to uninstall and reinstall.
