One improvement can be made. *2018-10-01* It’s has a XCOM like gameplay and so far I like the system. Only problem is you can’t replay missions. Because you can’t replay missions I’m rating 4/5. Other than that the game is perfect. Though the price is a bit steep for a mobile game. ### 5/5 — Xcom like top down turn based strategy *2017-09-01* I don't write a lot of reviews given all the games I try. This game deserved one. Well done game with incredible amount of team/character development including one of the most complex skill trees I've seen in an app that is not a PC port. I'd want to buy the full version of this game if you could replay the levels you have already completed. ### 5/5 — Excellent squad-based tactics *2016-06-14* Decided to give it a go as it was free - enjoyed it so much I have now got the full version (no IAPs FTW!) I particularly enjoy the vast amount of variety in the level design - it's nice to not have to slog through a horde of levels that all feel the same. Devs have been surprisingly responsive in helping me out, which always leaves with a positive impression! Does this mean I have to buy it separately or is this a glitch?i would like to know. I'm sure this game is fun but I cannot play it. Update long overdue: Great fun, However after i tranferred my account to a new ipad. i cant restore the full version. can you guys help me out? ### 4/5 — Great game, priced too much *2019-01-21* Its a very cool game, reminds me of a top down war hammer, the only issue i have with it is it costing $10 to play the full version. Learn lessons from other games, make it free and just micro transactions suits, weapons and other items. But the developer probably won‘t do it.😔 ### 5/5 — Fantastic turn-based game *2025-10-17* I can’t believe there are so few reviews of this game. I downloaded this back in 2017 for the sole purpose of having something to do while undergoing chemotherapy. It brought back memories of the old turn-based games by Julian Gallop (Rebelstar 2, Laser Squad etc). It is a very polished and well thought out strategy game that keeps you wanting to develop your team’s skills and try your best not to lose any of them during missions. Loved it and was sad when I got to the end. Big ups to these developers basically anywhere I’ve found discussion when looking at what others think of the game they have been there asking for feedback. Not to mention eliminating small complaints and STILL updating the game. ### 5/5 — Great game. Half price for more development *2019-04-28* Amazing game. The graphics aren’t super, but everything else is. Very worth the price. Unfortunately, the price is high and keeps people away as it seems unreasonable. I would really like to see the price dropped to half or less so that downloads can become triple or more. I strongly believe this game with its fantastic design can do really well. With the increased numbers and revenue, there will be more justification for further development and chapters. ### 5/5 — Shockingly brilliant *2019-03-23* This game starts off looking like a space hulk knock off, but it is seriously so much better, deeper, and more engrossing than space hulk at its best. This game is fantastic. The first 4 missions are free as a demo, then it’s 10 bucks for the full game. Totally worth every penny! I’ve spent over 20 hours playing and it’s so much fun I can’t put it down. Try this and see. ### 5/5 — Great RPG *2019-03-17* One of my favourite RPG’s I’ve played on iOS.
