### 5/5 — The best one I’ve tried

*2025-09-28, version 2.4*

Simple and intuitive - and with infinite possibilities.

*2025-06-03, version 2.4*

### 5/5 — For TOURING BANDS

*2025-02-12, version 2.4*

My band plays to a click track, and we use this app for practice and for the tour. 100% worth the investment. Easy to use and works seamlessly. Couldn’t recommend it more

### 5/5 — Still the best.

*2024-12-24, version 2.4*

Hands down, still THE best metronome on the App Store. Now let’s make it better: make it vst/auv3 compatible. Add a timer. Just those 2 things. Devs, I hope you’re reading this. I love the simple design, but those 2 features would put it over the top.

### 5/5 — Anders besser!!! 🔥⏱️

*2024-11-12, version 2.4*

### 5/5 — Works great

*2024-09-06, version 2.4*

I use it every day. I like the versatility of multiple time signatures.

### 5/5 — Genial

*2024-09-03, version 2.4*

### 4/5 — Super capable, very intuitive

*2024-08-19, version 2.4*

This app is stellar. Only gripe: Drag-and-drop reordering of presets is clunky and frustrating.

Intuitive and highly flexible–very easy to make changes to subdivisions, accents, etc super quickly; helps me dial in the rhythmic feel to perfectly match the thing I’m practicing. Need to watch the tutorial about setting up songs so I can start using that feature. Also plays even when in the background, so I can use it simultaneously when I have my drone app open.

### 3/5 — Why only 20 not 24 subdivisions?

*2024-02-07, version 2.4*

If you need for example a simple 4/4 measure but in which to switch between a eighth triplet shuffle and straight eighth notes, it‘s not possible because of the limitation to only 20 subdivisions instead of 24 which would be needed. That seems strange for an app for advanced rhythm patterns, doesn‘t it?

### 5/5 — This thing is so versatile

*2023-09-23, version 2.4*

Nothing more to say; this thing is dang near perfect.

### 5/5 — excellent

*2023-09-15, version 2.4*

worth much

### 5/5 — Well worth the money!

*2023-06-17, version 2.4*

Easy to use & easy to go as deep as you need. Everyone will benefit from using it.

### 2/5 — Can Concur

*2023-06-09, version 2.4*

Like others have said, this is hands a down a great app. You will not need another. I’ve used it for many years.

But some of us may be looking for a watch update. I’d pay for that. 😎 With an adjustable haptic amount would be especially cool.

Hey Developers, You’ll notice there’s no market for this really. It would be yours for the taking. 🤣

### 5/5 — Sempre meglio!!!

*2023-04-22, version 2.4*

Bellissima e utilissima app !!! Di facile comprensione ! Una figata !!!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not very useful

*2026-05-25, version 2.4*

This app is unintuitive, lacks the functionality I was expecting and it is ubstable. I have requested a refund.

### 1/5 — Does NOT work with iOS 26

*2026-05-13, version 2.4*

I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max and channel 2 does absolutely nothing. Worthless to me. I want a refund.

### 1/5 — Non-intuitive, metronome sounds are bad

*2026-01-10, version 2.4*

Difficult to program, it was hard to set up a simple click track without a bunch of subdivisions sounding.

### 1/5 — Almost unusable

*2024-11-10, version 2.4*

On M1 Macbook Pro. Dreadful interface. Goes against the intuitive and interactive nature of Mac apps. Very poor interface design and functionality. Could have been useful. Did the accountants have the last word on development? Certainly seems like it!
Ruined a practice session by getting in the way! Did anyone read Apple's Human Interface Guidelines? Time wasting rubbish!

*2024-11-03, version 2.4*

### 1/5 — MetroNope

*2021-08-17, version 2.4*

Been using it just ten minutes and it is clearly not optimized or something. It keeps randomly hesitating during playback. Sorry, but ZERO TOLERANCE for something that has one important job to do.

### 1/5 — Won’t let me export the set list

*2021-02-02, version 2.4*

I love this app- but there definitely some bugs for me- the share function has never worked for me- it just say device isn’t configured for mail- which is untrue. I’ve rebooted and reinstalled the app and still nothing- love to practice with it but I’ll never put another detailed song into the app because it’s a waste of time. If frozen ape helps me fix this I will make my review 5 stars

### 1/5 — Are you kidding me?

*2020-12-24, version 2.4*

Great features, but way too hard to adjust tempo on the fly. Why do they give us tiny buttons for changing the tempo? It’s easier to accidentally change the meter. What kind of animals do they think we are?

Enlarge the plus and minus buttons significantly and I will change my rating to 5 stars.

### 1/5 — Hiccups during gigs!

*2020-12-01, version 2.4*

I like the capabilities of this app, but three separate times during my rehearsal tonight it had a hiccup a couple of minutes into playing and I had to play the rest of the song with the click on the off beats. This happened on three of eleven songs. I had the phone in airplane mode, was using Bluetooth headphones. iPhone 11pro max. Latest iOS update. Please fix or tell me what settings to change to prevent hiccups during gigs.

### 1/5 — My app hasnt got list

*2020-04-11, version 2.4*

My app have any list of songs

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Excellent tool!

*2026-08-26, version 2.5*

This metronome is so versatile. I use in so many ways. Thank you for making such an outstanding product.

### 5/5 — Perfect metronome

*2026-08-23, version 2.5*

Been using this for 8 years. It does everything I need, from weird polyrhythms, to automatic speedups, to gap beats, to playlists. And all of it is very intuitive.

### 5/5 — The Best!

*2026-08-18, version 2.5*

I rated this app like six years ago and for some reason the App Store asked me to review it again, so here it is:

After using this metronome for ten years, it remains my favorite metronome ever. I'm actually using the setlists option, and the ability to program multiple shows and have them be fully recallable is a total lifesaver when it comes to one-off session-type fill-in work.

If Tempo Advance was available as an AAX plugin that works with Pro Tools' number pad 7️⃣ click on/off function and I'd pay a hundred dollars for it.

Anyway, here's my original review:

I’m a professional drummer and this is far and away the best metronome I’ve ever used. It’s a bit like the top-of-the-line Dr. Beat, but with more functionality. I love being able to change out the sounds, and I really wish I could get Tempo Advance as a replacement for the horrible stock Pro Tools click.

### 5/5 — Best metronome

*2026-08-16, version 2.5*

Best metronome I’ve ever used. I love that it gives you an interactive easy visual representation of poly rhythms as well and you can choose the sound for each beat if you want to play with strong and weak beats.

### 5/5 — The

*2026-08-11, version 2.5*

GOAT

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-08-02, version 2.5*

One of the best tempo apps I’ve found. I’ve been using it for years now and I highly recommend it to anyone who will listen. The setlist is great for playing live or just keeping a bunch of exercises on hand.
If you need a tempo app look no further, it’s worth every penny!

### 5/5 — El mejor metrónomo digital

*2026-07-28, version 2.5*

Pulsos irregulares, guardar play list, etc etc etc.

### 5/5 — Fantastic Metronome

*2026-03-26, version 2.4*

I use this every week in church. The sounds are customizable, tempos are easy to set, I can save the songs into a set list and I can trigger start/stop/next song with a Bluetooth pedal trigger. This was money well spent. Couldn't imagine using anything else.

### 5/5 — LOVE IT

*2026-02-03, version 2.4*

Absolute perfection & helps my guitar technique

### 5/5 — Amazing! But now we need Apple watch version.

*2025-12-21, version 2.4*

I use the app all the time. I create set lists to mimic the tempo and time changes found in my classical scores. Now, I would like my set lists to be available as haptic on my apple watch.
