### 3/5 — No garmin connectivity

*2026-08-12, version 2026.30.0*

App is great. Love the classes, feel like I get good workouts but there is no connectivity to my garmin watch

### 3/5 — It’s ok

*2026-07-27, version 2026.26.0*

The equipment is amazing. It’s convenient and can be discreetly stored. Most of the coaches are great and I really enjoy the exercises but they have become a little redundant. I do a lot of strength training and it’s pretty much always the same exercises. I gave this 3 stars because the tracking straight up sucks. The weight recommendations are always way off and the app that was installed on my watch and writing data into Apple health was completely throwing off my numbers. I had to uninstall it because it was skewing it so badly. I think they have a long way to go with the software because it just frustrates me more than anything. Their tracking also doesn’t always line up with what the coaches will say to do, which even further skews the “data”.

### 3/5 — Good but lacking polish

*2026-07-22, version 2026.26.0*

Overall this is a great system, and Id recommend it to anyone that wants to start their fitness journey, but don’t know where to start. The rep counting and training suggestions are great motivators and help you push yourself. However it’s lacking in polish and I think many will outgrow this system. It doesn’t sync workouts done through other apps well at all, so you’ll never get credit for anything you do outside the app, and Tempo will not factor in those activities into its recovery estimates. That SUCKS, because shockingly i do like to leave my house sometimes and go hiking, walking or kayaking, and none of that contributes to my tempo activity goals, even when the activities are tracked through Strava. And the lack of integration doesn’t end there, Tempo also doesn’t send any of your metrics to Strava, so you’re locked into only tracking that in Tempo, but the interface for that SUCKS It barely tells you anything about your training history or load capacity, and it doesn’t present the information it does have in a way that’s easy to understand. Please add the ability to export more detailed training data from tempo (like rep counts, weights used and exercise) to Strava so that i can actually justify using this fantastic app with all your awesome trainers in my health tracking ecosystem. Otherwise Im probably not going to renew it when apple fitness+ and Strava are already on my phone, providing equivalent guided workouts and tracking, with better inter connectivity.

To sum up, I am a very data oriented person, and i like looking at my workout data to motivate myself and guide my routines. This app does not play nice with any aspect of the apple health ecosystem or even the ecosystems it has official connections for. It only exports workout duration, calories burned, and heart-rate. Which sucks because if I’m gonna have to track the rest manually, might as well just use a different app once you pay off your weight system.

P.S. The weights are very nice and totally worth it. I have the complete package and it rocks. I just need the kettle bell and maybe the extra heavy bar and dumbbells before my subscription runs out, because the quality on these are incredible.

### 4/5 — Awesome alternative to traditional personal training

*2026-07-06, version 2026.26.0*

The temple app along with his coaches, provide a nice non-judgmental atmosphere for those interested in weight resistance training, but aren’t interested in going to a physical gym

### 5/5 — Amazing app!

*2026-06-08, version 2026.24.0*

Got a Tempo set and subscription for my birthday, zero regrets! Love the app I am so out of shape that it took me a month to talk myself to even start a class with the app. I was just using the weights by themselves. I was missing out! The classes are AMAZING so easy to follow and the coaches have a paced, here for you attitude. Love it! If you are not a gym person or don’t have the time to drive to one this is an amazing option. Just do it!

### 5/5 — Updates on updates!

*2026-06-02, version 2026.18.0*

I’ve had it for years they’ve done such a great job with this app

### 5/5 — Best on the go workout

*2026-05-27, version 2026.18.0*

I am a busy mother, I don’t have time to go to the gym and sit in traffic to get back to my normal routine. Tempo is the best gift I received to help me stay in shape and allow me to workout when I have time. It challenges and motivations me with prizes and competition. It has all types of workout plans for all type of athletic training. I love LOVE tempo!

### 5/5 — Tempo: Home Workout & Fitness

*2026-05-25, version 2026.18.0*

I’ve been using the Tempo home workout system for a while now, and overall I’ve been really impressed with it. The biggest advantage is convenience it genuinely makes strength training at home feel structured and motivating. The guided workouts, real-time rep tracking, and form feedback help recreate the feeling of having a personal trainer without needing to go to the gym.

### 5/5 — Don’t Like the Gym but Love Tempo!

*2026-05-21, version 2026.18.0*

I'm really not a gym type of person. I've tried many times. I know it's good for me to build functional strength for the aging process, but whatever I do, I can't fit the gym into my schedule. When I get there, I'm just not motivated, but with Tempo I have successfully worked out about two times a week for two months now, and I can honestly say I enjoy it. It's fun and it's motivating.

The workouts are short and compact and fit my schedule, and all I have to do is go into my bedroom space where I have it set up and go for it. The weights are really nice, good quality, and make it a fun experience to use. The personal trainers are all really good. They're fun, they're engaging, and the time flies by. They intersperse (maybe with AI?) little mini clips that seem to adjust based on what my body is doing. If I'm out of form, the personal trainer seems to adjust and say, "Hey, stand up straighter or tilt your pelvis forward" or whatever cues are needed to correct my form," so very impressed. I've also noticed a clear improvement in my lean muscle mass and my body definition.

### 5/5 — Remembering

Lots of varied classes and good tips for pushing yourself.

### 5/5 — In Love!

*2026-05-11, version 2026.18.0*

Love how simple and user friendly the app and machine are. Getting back to working out postpartum was intimidating but Tempo offers so many different classes, programs and fitness levels for whatever part of your journey you are in. I am completely obsessed with my tempo and the community.

### 5/5 — Awesome coaches

*2026-05-04, version 2026.18.0*

I love the way the coaches interact with you encourage you and is fighting right along with

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Awful health integration

*2026-08-15, version 2026.30.0*

Ive been using this app since January this year and it’s been an amazing tool to help me get more active. But every time i open the app it duplicates training entries in my apple health. Apple health can usually weed these out but not always, and Ive noticed the more ive used the app the weirder my historical data becomes. I use that data in other apps and its resulted in aweful training recommendations. Before i was annoyed that the Strava integration was so bare bones, giving no logs of what strength training im doing or at what loads, but now its the only way to actually get the data synced into my health app. The weights are nice and the instructors are great, but it’s really a frustrating experience. Tempo doesn’t even take into account exercises done outside of the a even though it reads them and you can view them in your tempo exercise history.

### 1/5 — Recording

*2026-08-05, version 2026.30.0*

Tracked my movements the first time but not the second

### 1/5 — Frustrating controls

*2026-04-09, version 2026.10.0*

On their ads they really play up the “form correction” function which turns out is non existent. Range of motion meter doesn’t work correctly in one of the work outs at least once a week. You can’t rewind in work out classes, and the pause function doesn’t work very well. They force you to pay for a year up front so now I’m stuck with an extremely frustrating work out app.

Update: rep tracking works about half the workouts. Because of the failure in rep tracking, the weight recommendations are off as well. Great idea, love the weights but terrible app.

### 1/5 — can’t cancel free trial without emailing them

*2026-04-06, version 2026.10.0*

setting is hidden to delete, have to contact them once you start the free trial cant just do it through the app, should be illegal

### 1/5 — Read the fine print

*2026-03-24, version 2026.10.0*

Most people know the 'bundle deal' usually locks you into a 2-year contract, but the real headache starts when that contract ends. Even after years of loyal support, this company will pull every trick in the book to squeeze one last $40 charge out of you. In my case, they refused a prorated cancellation because I was exactly one day outside of their window. They’d rather lose a long-term customer and deal with a formal dispute than show an ounce of flexibility. If you value customer service that actually values you, look elsewhere.

### 1/5 — Will not screen mirror

*2026-03-10, version 2026.10.0*

This is the ONLY app I have that will not work using AirPlay. The TV is too far up to connect using HDMI, but reviewers have stated they've been able to mirror screen using AirPlay. I have been through all the troubleshooting to no avail. This was an expensive product with an expensive monthly fee to not be able to use it properly. Very disappointed.

### 1/5 — Frustrating controls

*2026-02-23, version 2026.6.0*

On their ads they really play up the “form correction” function which turns out is non existent. Range of motion meter doesn’t work correctly in one of the work outs at least once a week. You can’t rewind in work out classes, and the pause function doesn’t work very well. They force you to pay for a year up front so now I’m stuck with an extremely frustrating work out app. The only thing that works well is the rep counting.

### 1/5 — Needs some improvement

*2026-01-13, version 2026.2.0*

There isn’t a way to start over. The setup is not self explanatory. There needs to be some major improvements to the app.

### 1/5 — Frequent errors

*2026-01-05, version 2025.52.1*

I like the system, equipment and training routines, but there are frequent app errors (doesn’t connect watch, tv, error when starting an exercise, and spotify disconnecting) which impact the overall experience quite a bit.

### 1/5 — Failed to Launch

*2025-12-23, version 2025.52.0*

Can’t get past the create profile page.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Working well

*2026-08-29, version 2026.30.0*

I have been using this for about a month and I really love it. I am finally starting to see results. I love how the app and the weights work together. I feel like I have already learned a lot from the trainers. The only thing I might suggest is improvements on the search function. There are so my classes to choose from and even when I use the filters it takes me a while to find what I want. Maybe some sort of an AI chat would help. Otherwise I am enjoying it and plan on continuing to use it.

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2026-08-25, version 2026.30.0*

Tempo keeps the bar low of getting back into the “gym” from the comfort of my home! No traveling to a crowded gym with the bros hogging the machines, I can pop in an amazing workout, hop in my own shower and then get back to life. Oh!

### 5/5 — Using tech to get healthy

*2026-08-18, version 2026.30.0*

This app is genius. It works exactly as advertised, and I’m actually able to stick with a program for the first time in my life. I love all the options and being able to complete my workouts in the privacy of my bedroom. I also love the immediate feedback and workout tracking it provides through my Apple Watch and the app. The initial cost is daunting, but considering all that I’ve spent on memberships, training, and programs over the years, it’s easily going to pay for itself in 6 months.

### 5/5 — No excuses

*2026-08-04, version 2026.30.0*

The trainers feel like personal trainers indeed, as though it’s just you and them in a training session. Using Tempo has made me the most consistent I have ever been, in the almost 20 years since I’ve been working out.

### 5/5 — Comfort at home

*2026-08-04, version 2026.30.0*

Unfortunately, I’m not in the shape I use to be. Going to the gym makes me self conscious but being able to do this for myself, by myself, really makes me want to continue! Thank you Tempo

### 5/5 — Worth to buy

*2026-07-30, version 2026.30.0*

Such a great tool for a first time mom.

### 5/5 — Just getting started

*2026-07-23, version 2026.26.0*

Just got my workout room up and finished my first workout. Love the feedback and excited for this journey.

### 5/5 — Better than I hoped for

*2026-07-15, version 2026.26.0*

I initially got this program because of the compact set up that I could fit in my home and figured it might come with a few videos. I did not expect comprehensive workout plans for each level of fitness, including advanced lifters. Sometimes the set count on the videos is different than the set count you are supposed to be following, but it’s a minor detail. I’m genuinely satisfied with both the equipment and the workout programs. There was also a mixup while shipping my equipment and Customer Service was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. I’m happy I took a risk as it’s an expensive set up, but totally worth it.

### 5/5 — App a game changer

*2026-07-07, version 2026.26.0*

They have continuously improved the technology and now with rep counting it allows you to do many of the workouts anywhere you go. On vacation this week didn’t mean a vacation from Tempo!!!

### 5/5 — Review

*2026-07-06, version 2026.26.0*

The coaches are spectacular!
