## What is Tempo?

YOUR MUSIC. PRECISELY.

Tempo is a music player for people who own their music. Your purchased tracks. Your MP3s, FLACs, and files from anywhere. Played beautifully, with nothing in the way.

No subscription. No ads. No account. No upsells. Ever.

WHAT TEMPO DOES
— Plays music from your personal library, stored right on your device
— Imports your own files: MP3, AAC/M4A, FLAC, WAV, AIFF — from the Files app, or "Share → Open in Tempo"
— Albums, songs, artists, and playlists, organized like a well-kept catalog
— Full background playback with lock screen and Control Center controls
— Works with your headphones, AirPods, Bluetooth, and car controls
— Search your library instantly
— Shuffle, repeat, and precise scrubbing

WHAT TEMPO DOESN'T DO
— No streaming service, and no ads between your songs
— No monthly fee to keep listening to music you already paid for
— No account, no sign-up, no tracking, no analytics
— No internet required. Tempo works in airplane mode, on the subway, in the mountains — always

DESIGNED LIKE AN INSTRUMENT
Tempo is built with the precision of a fine watch: a calm, exact interface, tabular numerals, clean typography, and a single red needle that moves only when your music plays. No clutter. No noise. Just your collection, presented with respect.

YOURS, FOREVER
Your music lives on your device and stays there. Nothing leaves your phone. Tempo makes zero network calls — your library, your listening habits, and your playlists are nobody's business but yours.

A note on cloud tracks: songs in your library that aren't downloaded to your device can stream through the system player when you're online. To keep them offline forever, download them once at the source — then Tempo plays them anywhere, no connection needed. Some older copy-protected purchases can't be played by any third-party app.

If you're tired of renting your own music back — welcome home.

Press play.
