## What is Tempo?

Tempo limits your apps per use — not per day.

Most screen-time tools give you one big daily budget. Tempo takes a different approach: it sets a timer every time you open a watched app, blocks the app when you hit your limit, then starts a cooldown before you can open it again. It's built to break the reflexive open-close-open loop that daily limits don't catch.

HOW IT WORKS
- Pick the apps you want to keep in check.
- Set a per-use time limit for each one (seconds to minutes).
- Set a cooldown that must pass before the app unlocks again.
- Open the app, use it, and Tempo blocks it when your time is up.

WHY PER-USE
A daily limit lets you binge for an hour, then locks you out. A per-use limit keeps every single session short, so you check in and move on instead of disappearing into a scroll.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Tempo uses Apple's Screen Time framework. Your app usage never leaves your device, is never collected, and is never sent to us or anyone else. There are no accounts and no tracking.

Tempo is for limiting your own apps on your own iPhone.
