Love how the pitch doesn’t change with the speed changes. ### 2/5 — Suddenly stopped working *2025-09-28* I used to love this app and used & recommended it for years. Recently it started to just randomly start ignoring loop markers. Sometimes it does sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes restarting the app works and sometimes it doesn’t. It also stopped slowing down the song. This app used to work flawlessly every time! I’m heartbroken, but I’m now searching for a replacement :( ### 2/5 — Song loading screen goes away *2025-07-12, version 1.5.4* I hope they can fix the bug because I can’t load songs into it from my library. The app never seems to remember that I have previous purchases. In other words I ALWAYS have to Restore previous purchases. Please fix. I’ve spent too much money and have used this app for too long to deal with the same issues for 3 years straight, It appears the devs of this app aren’t actively working on it. I assume the issue with loading songs from iTunes comes from copyright issues. I use it all the time when I teach dance classes or rehearse choreography. I wish there were an easier way to download songs. I have songs that I wrote and recorded. I cannot even access them. Additionally, they changed it so that we cannot use the "Tap BPM" feature without having a song loaded, which (of course) requires an Apple Music subscription. I PURCHASED features in the app that I can no longer use due to the changes. Subsequently, I deleted the app from my device. I will never buy another app from these developers, ever again, because they cannot be trusted to not sell out to big tech and render our purchases null and void. I deleted and reloaded the app 11/10/23 and no improvement. The button occasionally appears, (depending on which of my downloaded iTunes selections I load), but does not reliably function. When it does not appear, I can go to the Shopping basket (Store) REMOVE it, then INSTALL it, and it will reappear—but does not function (it will display incremental semitone changes, but will not change the audio). However, after purchasing the playlist option the app has been refusing to load tracks or crashing and even loading the wrong tracks but with the correct track name! I had to remove the playlist function to stop this. Shame as I use to love this app. Maybe an update will fix this. I have tried deleting and reinstalling many times but it does not fix the issue. Update: Sept 2025. Ongoing issue with adverts. I paid to have these remove however every time I use it there are adverts and I have to hit ‘restore purchase’. I would like a refund for my initial playlist purchase and also the remove adverts. Total pain. Update: I’ve given up on this app and requested a refund. It has become unusable. Despite paying to remove apps and to add the playlist feature, it failed to remember at launch and need resetting every time. That added to the random crashes and other glitches I’ve given up and moved to Audio Stretch Lite. This is amazing. And works every time. ### 1/5 — THREE Fatal Flaws *2025-09-12, version 1.5.4* There are two (EDIT: THREE) fatal flaws which I felt deserved giving this app a 2-star rating (I’m changing this to one after discovering a third issue and having no way to contact the developer) 1. It has a resolution of SECONDS meaning you can't place loop markers correctly. 2. While you can adjust the speed, you can't adjust the pitch. So all those songs tuned to Eb - you'll need to retune your guitar. 3. Like embarrassing level non-function. Just delete it. Run from it. Forget that it exists. Unless you want to connect the app to your Dropbox, create a special little folder for the app to access, upload any music you need to the special little Dropbox folder, then download from Dropbox to the app…. There seems to be no substitute. And it is great. Original review: I record scales etc from my Yamaha keyboard using Tempo Slowmo, and practice cello intonation slowly at first then speeding up bit by bit. I also record youtube audio from my computer onto my ipad mini and practice using TS. My practicing has improved 1000%! I would love to be able to import from Spotify. Thank you to the developer. I really needed this app (easy!) ### 5/5 — Love this app BUT suddenly not working correctly *2025-09-25* I have been using this app for MANY years (I think almost 10) and absolutely love it! However, last week it suddenly stopped slowing down the tempo. I tried closing and reopening it - no change. I tried using a different track - no change. Today I deleted the app and redownloaded it. Now it still doesn’t slow down correctly, but now I have ads that I didn’t before. I tried the support link but all I could find was a description of features and other apps by the developer - no contact info. So if you see this please help me figure out how to fix this issue! ### 5/5 — Honestly, my most used app for a while *2025-04-19* I’ve done just about everything with this app: -used it to slow down songs to practice and pick out notes that I’m not hearing at full speed -showed other musicians what a song would sound like a half step down (or whatever different key) for covers -when I’m sick with an ear infection, I can take a song and put it in here, take semitones down to hear it at my brain’s known key of the song to avoid pitch dissonance Love it, I think it needs some efficiency love and some UI upgrades but I’ll still use it! ### 5/5 — It’s a great app, but *2024-11-28, version 1.5.4* It’s been three years. While it doesn't do that exactly, it does BETTER! You can select the playlist (if you purchase that feature) and set the speed for each individual song - so you can have some songs slow, slower, and other songs faster (individually from 20%-250% speed). And it remembers your settings for each song! Plus you can change the speed on the fly by turning the dial. It plays in the background (yay!) and you can even set markers to loop. It remembers the last song you were on too when you reopen the app. And even MORE app awesomeness, it works on my old device too that hasn't been updated in years. Awesome, great job! As far as suggestions, 1-it's a little too easy to swipe to the right when turning the dial, 2-it would be nice to have a confirmation message when deleting markers (to avoid mistakes), 3-I wish there were theme colors. Thank you for the great app!
