Grill needs both high and low alerts and works differently from things that cook. 2) time to done estimate is wildly inaccurate. Hint to devs: there should be no zero in the rate calc. ### 4/5 — Works well but *2026-08-03, version 2.2.0* It works well and It allows me to customize each temp setting to match the way I cook. My only complaint is that I can’t shut off an alarm. The slider that should, don’t. There is a nonsense ‘time left’ timer which either shows an unrealistic time or no time. The sensor and software seem to work fine for temperature reading, BUT the alarm did not signal when the set temperature was reached. No alarm. No vibration. Kind of useless and not good value for the $50 spent. On a side note, the instruction manual is not good at all. No useful information. It goes off every 10-20seconds until you cancel the cook. Horrible design, not allowing you to snooze it or dismiss fully. It has never lost signal or skipped out. The ability to see it on my phone instead of having another display like other units I have is very convenient. ### 5/5 — Mandatory *2026-08-09, version 2.2.0* Couldn't be without the Thermo Pro probe and the TempPro app. No more guessing if the chicken/loaf/cake is cooked through. Can set an alarm for scalding milk for yoghurt. Hell it's even useful for giving the ambient temp of a room. I have purchased so far and I’ve been smoking for 50 years. The app is easy to use Customer service is the best. One of my probe stopped working. I called them up no questions.
