## What is Tempy Alerts?

Tempy Alerts is a mobile push notification app that monitors your Tempy sensor(s) alert that have been created and triggered through the Tempy web application. Once connected to your existing Tempy web application account, you will receive temperature, humidity, dew-point, air-pressure, and connection loss notifications instantly from anywhere in the world. The Tempy Alerts app gives you the ability to filter alerts by a sensors name, as well as by the type of alert that was triggered. The Tempy Alerts app must be associated with an existing Tempy web application account, which is created upon receiving your Tempy system hardware in order to register and manage your wireless sensors.
The Tempy system is a low-power thermometer and hygrometer remote sensing system that wirelessly monitors and reports its' surrounding temperature, humidity, and air pressure conditions to your smartphone, tablet, or computer. The collected smart sensor data is sent to the cloud where it's instantly accessible through the Tempy web application from anywhere in the world. Using the Tempy web application, you can monitor live data, receive notifications and alerts, and manage sensors directly from your phone, tablet, or computer. It work at first, but hasn’t in months.

This has thus far been a very low utility app to begin with and seems to have now broken. I no longer get alerts and I’ve been trouble shooting for days. Nothing works, all notifications are turned on for my phone, I have uninstalled and reinstalled, tried different devices... nothing. I no longer have any peace of mind when it comes to my tropical greenhouse this winter. Guess I get to cross my fingers that the pellet stove doesn’t jam during the cold snap we are getting! I will be looking for a replacement device with a more functional app.

The app doesn’t work like it shows in the examples. Even the mobile web version doesn’t work either. But when you go to the dashboard on a computer, it works great. Need some improvements to go with this great device!
