## What is Ten Fingers?

Ten Fingers teaches children to touch type without looking at the keyboard, in 28 levels across six worlds. First the home row, finger by finger; then the top row, the bottom row, capitals, punctuation and finally numbers.

Technique comes before speed: in the first three worlds only accuracy counts, and using the finger shown by the colour. Speed starts scoring in world 4, once finger positions are automatic.

• On-screen keyboard showing which finger goes where, with hands that light up.
• Counts misses per key and builds a custom review from the keys that give you trouble.
• Streaks, records, badges, a practice calendar and a 45-second race.
• Three worlds to choose from: Galaxy, Magic Forest and Open Case.
• Six languages, each with its own keyboard: English (US and UK), Spanish, French AZERTY, German QWERTZ, Italian and Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil).
• Several players on the same device, each with their own progress.
• Works offline. No ads, no in-app purchases, no data collection.

Designed for children from age 8. Use it with a physical keyboard (Bluetooth or a keyboard case): that's how touch typing is learnt.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0 — 2026-10-26

Ten Fingers 2.0. Your character teaches with its hands: every finger has its color and, if you slip, it points to the right one. New “My words”: type this week's school words and practice them by typing or as a dictation, hearing them without seeing them. Players and progress synced with iCloud on iPhone, iPad and Mac. New card album and runners, and ready for iPhone Duo.

### 1.3 — 2026-10-13

Meet our new star: a fluffy blue character with ten colored fingers, the same colors as the fingers on the keyboard, so you can see at a glance which finger goes on each key. It joins you on every adventure dressed as an astronaut, a forest sprite or a detective, cheers you on during streaks, referees family duels and opens card packs with you. New look and new icon.

### 1.2 — 2026-10-09

Collectible cards: every level you pass gives you a pack with common, rare, epic and legendary cards. Three new missions every day, combos that multiply your points with your streak, ranks that unlock new keyboards, and family duels taking turns on the same device. Ready for iPhone Duo.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-10-05

Performance improvements and small tweaks.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-05

A final challenge in every world: open the lock with three hearts or catch the falling words. Each level gives you an item for your collection, and stars unlock new racers. Ninja mode with belts, a 10-minute daily challenge and a weekly family league. Your name appears in the sentences, a companion cheers you on, and parents get a progress report. You can now remove a player.
