You hit apply and it takes you to YouTube??? And then if you want to return to search it just sits there loading. You have to pay to be able to get some of the features, then you have to pay to keep your profile for over 14 days (I’ve already paid Premium to use it for 3months and it’s been less than 10days!!). It’s all about pay, pay, pay; freezes all the time. Immediately on downloading and opening it redirects you to a pop up in browser Google syndicate page. It does this every time you go back onto the app making it almost unusable. If you can manage to get past this, you are then greeted with the most shocking interface of an app I’ve seen in years. I cannot even change my location to Edinburgh making the app completely useless for me unless I was looking solely in Australia for flats. If you can avoid using this app - do so! I dread to think of the housing market if this is the sole way to book viewings. ### 1/5 — App stuck in loop, not working. *2026-06-16, version 6.0.60* I’m using an iPhone 15 Pro Max, and whenever I try to log in to the app with my credentials, the screen starts flashing and gets stuck in a loop. It never completes the login process. I’ve tried multiple times, but the issue persists. It looks like a bug that the technical team may need to fix. ### 1/5 — Don’t Buy Premium! It’s a rort. *2026-06-14, version 6.0.60* The app took money for premium But I can’t use the premium features. It takes forever to load and goes white so you can’t apply for anything. I’m going to report it for taking my money and not enabling me to access anything ### 2/5 — Waste of money *2026-06-13, version 6.0.60* This app is a rip off. It is slow and the map feature is nowhere near as good as realestate.com. I wish agents would quit using it but often there is no choice. The app asks for payment to secure your data. When applying as a couple accounts don’t link properly. Then when I can get a clear screen I try too apply for rental and it wants me to log in again then doesn’t except password I’ve logged in with before. ### 1/5 — Impossible to create account *2026-06-13, version 6.0.60* Unfortunately this app seems to be used by most agents now. I’ve tried numerous times create an account on the app and online and each time I come registration I go to login and get “account not found”. TenantApp provides no practical help option. It’s astounding why this is a preferred app for real estate agents? Really making the already stressful task of finding a new house that much easier! Still waiting to this day. So many problems and such a lack of understanding of the user needs and the flow of information. All you want is to get as much money as you want from the user when the user is only looking to complete a process through an application they are forced to use by the real estate agents. ### 1/5 — Lots of Issues *2026-04-01, version 6.0.60* I have just started to use this app again in the last few weeks. I used the app a few years ago and didn’t encounter the issues I am now encountering. If your lucky enough to get past the bot check (when opening app don’t move your device, touch it, breath etc or it won’t open app for you) you think great, this is pretty good. But scrolling through the list of properties it constantly freezes and won’t unfreeze unless you restart device. And then we are back to the bot check. The planning view of shortlisted properties and the accessibility of the map that allows you to zoom in and out without crashing. Have a wonderful day! ### 5/5 — Convenient, but too easy to cancel. *2023-01-16* This app definitely provides the convenience to the users both tenant and real estate. But as it is too easy to book and cancel the inspection, I had a really disappointing experience with no manner from the real estate.. They just clicked the inspection cancellation button 40 min ago before my inspection. And that happens after they re-confirm the inspection time 3 hrs after. I drove there for 2 hrs and waited near there Only one message sent to me 40 min ago not to come. They never rang, as they thought they needn’t to be. I should make a call to ask the reason but they seems they think there is nothing wrong with this process. Not only this experience, I have had several inspection cancellations from the early morning if inspection day to 1 week before. When I apply, I can see that I should inspect before from the agreement. But sometimes there is no chance to inspect nowadays. The properties have been taken even before the inspection. If there is any rating or penalty in terms of the manner both tenant and real estate, that would be better. Or if there is a limit the time to cancel it at least, it would be nice. This small convenient app sometimes made people easily to think that person-to-person trust as light as one click just before the meeting, which is really personally sad. **Developer response:** We're always working hard to improve the app. Thanks for your download and feedback. ### 5/5 — APPalling *2022-10-29* TenantApp is appalling it freezes up doesn’t load properly and gives inaccurate information on inspection times changes to times and if you are applying as part of a couple family or group it doesn’t register with the app correctly when both or all parties applying have applied. Also this app gives incorrect map directions causing delays and missing out on inspections of homes, there are obviously major technical issues within the app along with minor bug fixes that need immediate attention. This app could be brilliant if only the designer/s took the time to fix all the technical issues/problems. When the app is working properly it’s amazing but unfortunately it’s lacking especially in being user friendly. I am not impressed at all. **Developer response:** This doesn't seem right. She was patient with all my questions so I could relax and get a feel for what I was looking at, she was totally across all the do’s and don’ts and even some maybe’s, , best of all the landlord was there while I was inspecting and he obviously was familiar with her and liked her. I will use Laing & Simmons again simply because of how I was treated. My application was approved that day . Great job Kim , I’ve written a total of 2 reviews now in my life but I had to considering this experience , **Developer response:** Thanks so much for your review :) ### 5/5 — Frustratingly a mess *2019-11-18* This application has drained my battery life with its constant loading and SLOW loading rate it freezes up almost every single time and makes nothing on screen accesible. It has booked me in for inspections I had requested only not booked for and triple booking time slots makes it impossible to plan travels etc. maybe a network with a map service or ride service may assist those who can’t drive currently ease of access with meeting appts and inspections whilst utilizing the tenant app successfully. A lot of listings won’t let you contact to request via online websites or real estate apps it’s linking to the App Store for the tenant app, I also found a lot more suitable listings online than what was listed here in the tenant app. I can see how amazing this app can be unfortunately it’s caused me a lot of frustration as well as that misadvised times and locations has meant I have missed vital inspections for properties which I’m desperate to get ahold of s place before it becomes a crisis moment. If a few minor adjustments and fixes could be fixed or upgraded and major more ease of access options with overall delivery of this process of rental hunting was to be incorporated into this app I would rate it 5 stars.
